It never fails everytime I get to this particular location there is always an issue where I cannot send a package… They are either closed because an employee is sick and have to leave, internet, or they don’t have anybody to deliver packages, like this is ridiculous. Why even keep this location?

Today, Saturday, July 5,2025. I and another gentleman arrived before closing at 1pm. The door was locked and a lady refused to open it! They had the previous day off and closed early today! They are lazy and a waste of taxpayers money! We are both filling a complaint with the USPS Inspector General's Office! If you don't want to do your job then maybe unemployment it for you!

So disappointed in how USPS does there express mail. Why charge over 30 dollars for overnight and it take 48 plus hours to get a package.

Priority Mail? More Like “Priority to Sit Around” – 2⭐
Only giving it 2 stars due to Mr. Charles having amazing customer service that i experienced dropping off my package. He is the only one keeping that place afloat.
I paid extra for Priority Mail because USPS promises 1‑ to 3‑day delivery. Instead, my package decided to take an extended vacation—3 full days lounging at the origin post office before it even left the building! Tracking showed “Accepted at USPS Origin Facility” on Monday afternoon (April 14) and then… absolutely nothing until Thursday afternoon (April 17), when it finally moved. The only reason it moved is because i went back to the facility to inquire about the stand still. I forgot to get the postal clerk name but she already had an attitude when i walked in and it was no line. She pretended to look in the database and inform me that even though the tracking says it’s still at this location, it has left and is in route to the jacksonville distribution center downtown. I wasted gas and my time commuting to the usps downtown only for that postal clerk to tell me that it was IN FACT not at their facility yet and still sitting at Lake Forest USPS. By the time it reached the recipient, an item that should’ve arrived mid‑week showed up the following Thursday—double the advertised time.
What’s the point of paying the Priority surcharge if USPS treats it like standard economy? I could have mailed it with regular First‑Class and saved money for the same lousy speed. Even worse, customer service offered no real help: “It’s still within our delivery window and you cannot get a refund.
USPS, if you can’t meet the time guarantees, quit advertising them. At the very least, be transparent when a package is stuck instead of letting tracking sit idle for days. Until there’s accountability and a real effort to honor paid service levels, I’ll be steering my “priority” business to carriers that actually make it a priority.

I was there yesterday my due to my mail had not been delivered in mail box for several days and no mail pick up. Gentlemen I spoke with was very helpful and explain everything to me. Unto God Be The Glory. All mail received the next day.

My package never arrived. I have cameras it says delivered in mailbox yesterday and wasn’t. Now they won’t answer the phone. Also this same post office “a Edgewood” stole a $100 Target Gift Card that I sent out to my daughter in TN. Sad you can’t trust your own post office.

I was in and out in no time. The lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. I don't remember her name but shes from Indiana. (Hope that helps)

My mailbox has been out by the road for over 10 years and not one single person has complained about taking one step to my mailbox.. until we got this new man and no one and I mean no one likes him cause he’s so rude and angry all the time.. anyways he started running up over our curbside and left deep ruts in the grass and because I asked him to stop after him running over my yard stakes on the curbside now he wants my mailbox moved. Miserable people love to make others miserable.

The location isn’t great and there’s no package drop box but they are 1000x better than Dunn avenue. You will be in and out, and the people there are actually nice.
