It's a neighborhood Walmart. It carries some of the same things as a regular Walmart but is primarily a grocery store. There is a pharmacy as well. Prices here will generally be better than Publix or Winn Dixie but you won't have as wide of a selection of products as you would at a grocery store. I prefer to buy meats at grocery stores; I think they are better in quality than Walmart offers. If you need the basics or staple meals, this is the place for you. The pharmacy is good, has convenient hours, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is also a good location to puck up larger items like toilet paper, paper towels, cases of water, or kitty litter. Parking is plentiful and easy access from Atlantic Ave or San Pablo.

Great medium sized location for groceries and household items. It feels fresh in here with good displays and bright lighting. Most items were in stock, except of course the antibacterial items due to the pandemic. Some self checkouts are here enabling a quick in and out.

I went to this store to do an exchange with my 2 (5 gallons) water bottles. The exchange machine was broken, so I told management. The assistant manger, told me not to worry and just tell the cashier when you are checking out . After shopping around with my 2 girls was completed. It was check out time, while my grocery was being scan, I went and got the prefilled 5 gl waters and told the cashier about the exchange. She was confused called manager over and showed the cashier, how to look it up after she already scan and charge me for the full price for it . I decided to wait and let the cashier finished scanning and then ask her to make sure that the 2 full price of the water are taken off . She didnt understand, so I told her she still has the full price of water on there , total of $26 and the exchange price of $13 for 2 (5 gls). The manager cames back and said she is not suppose to be doing that . I said "what are you talking about. Is an exchange and your machine is broken . Also, your assistant manager told me , not to worry about it just to let you know. With one cashier working the line got longer and my kids got agitated from waiting. I had to explain to the manager and cashier the whole situation over and over again . They didnt understand, then the manager was accusing me of trying to buy water for 29cents per gallon, if I was doing it myself. She accused me infront of my kids and other customers like I was at fault . I was so upset and mad, I told her all I was asking is to not get over charged for sometimes I was not buying. The manager finally took the full price water off and I paid , so I could leave after 30 mins for trying to explain myself. Then manager finally went to ask the assistant manager and realized she was at wrong for what she was accusing me of doing. I was so upset and overwhelmed going shopping with my kids during the pandemic and getting accused of trying to do something I was not. This store manager was racially profiling myself and my girls for trying to get water for 29 cents a gallon after I spend $150.00 at that store that day . I will never GO Back there, the managers are racist and very unprofessional.

I admit to loving the Walmart Neighborhood markets a lot more than the superstores! The prices are a little better- they are easier to get in and out of and this location is on my hit list when I have to pick something up for parents or if I am camping at Hanna Park. The location makes it easy for me to grab and continue on to run my errands. Self checkout seems to be the way to go at these stores- as they never have a lot of cashiers. But fresh bakery loaf for a $1 and a gallon of milk for a little over $2- you can't beat that with a stick! Always clean- this one also does an excellent job keeping shelves stocked!

The prices though!!! I have only been to one other market place in town & was looking for a particular item they don't carry. So I decided to try again and man am I glad I did! It's like a mini Walmart, but with less selection. So if you're not picky...wow! The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. Then how wide the isles were- you didn't feel squished when someone walked by with their buggy. The lady at the cash register was very pleasant and helpful. The total cost was way under what we normally spent. I love Walmart but as an introvert, this place is perfect! We will definitely be back here soon!

Very clean and large market compared to others I've been to! I was shocked when I walked in here... 5 stars for cleanliness, accessibility, and friendliness. The aisles are well put together also. Less clutter in the aisles.
