Wish I could give 0 stars but i can't. I had a very frustrating and humiliating situation at this walmart on wilson lastnight (2/11/25) around 7pm-7:30pm.
I had to buy formula for my baby and since I had to do that I had to check out at a register with someone, which I don't mind. Upon checking out I had to do one transaction for some steaks that cost $13.86. I told the lady I need to do a split payment because I needed change so I said to take $5 out of the $20 cash and I paid the rest of $8.36 with my debit card. Well the lady didn't give me my $15 back and so I'm glad I was paying attention because I never even left I was still standing in the same spot at the register so I never moved so I couldn't have misplaced any money. But I'm telling the lady you never gave me my change back and she proceeds to say that I never handed her a $20. So of course I'm upset I worked so hard instacarting all day with my 2 yr old and 6 month old...not easy very exhausting...it's now late I gotta get my kids home and feed them and baths and bed so I don't even have time to be standing here dealing with this. So the lady says I never gave her money so I show her my bank statement off my phone for the $8.36 paid for the steaks but no matter what I say or show her she keeps talking bout how her draw will come up short. I tell her she need to go get a manager or something cuz I'm not leaving till I get my money. The manager comes talking bout how they have to check camreas and stuff and I need to wait 10 mins for some guy that deals with all that to come back so that sets me off cuz like wtf trying to get my kids home. And then homegirl over in customer service talking bout the whole situation like I'm liying and trying to con her out $15....anyways for waiting for about 10-15 mins the manager and some guy come out tell the lady to open the drawer to the register..I couldn't hear everything they said but I did hear something like it's OK you just didn't know or something and then the lady grabs me 3 $5s and walks over to me had it to me and says I'm so sorry. I was so mad I couldn't even say anything back to her.
The whole time waiting I felt like I was a criminal or something.
I understand situations like this could happen to anyone, but it's how you speak to someone and handle things that make a difference.
And to the lady that did this...customers are right. I think you should retake a customer service training course.

Really impressed with this Walmart. I was given excellent customer service. Employee Manny has been such a breath of fresh air to this Walmart. Definitely need to hire more employees with his level of professionalism. Manny is tentative to customers, personable and knowledgeable.

Very kind and understanding employees a couple years ago due to my bipolar and PTSD and the fact I had a problem with my finances at the time I got kicked out for overreacting. They welcomed me back this year with no problem. They are the sweetest people and I appreciate doing business with this store. George the pharmacist is an incredible gentleman.

I’m giving up going to the Supercenter. End up spending more time wandering around and retracing steps. This is much smaller almost cozy, and parking lot is way less crazy. Highly recommend, there should be at least one non self serve with bagger, for the elderly, disabled or a large order.

Akira has a terrible attitude and should seek entrepreneurship. As, she seems to hate serving the public. She appears to be redundant lazy. She was enraged because I asked that she double bag my heavier items. The manager was near and I advised him on how she failed to greet me, rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth because she felt that I took too long.
