I am writing this review on behalf of my friend, Heaven Summer Lee, who is currently serving in the military. Her experience with Gator Chevrolet has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel it's important to share how poorly they've treated her.
Heaven purchased a brand new 2024 Chevrolet Equinox from Gator Chevrolet on June 18, 2024, and traded in her 2014 Equinox. The dealership was supposed to pay off the loan on the trade-in vehicle, but as of today, August 15, 2024, the payoff still hasn’t been processed!
Despite repeated assurances, Heaven has had to continue making payments on the old loan because Gator Chevrolet failed to fulfill their end of the deal. When she visited the dealership today, she was told that the payoff check had been sent to the loan company. However, her loan company confirmed they hadn't received anything. Further inquiry revealed that the payoff is still sitting in the manager’s office, waiting for approval. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
What’s even more troubling is that Heaven is a military service member, and this dealership’s handling of her situation shows a shocking lack of respect for someone who serves our country. The way they’ve treated her is not only disappointing but disrespectful.
If you’re considering doing business with Gator Chevrolet, be warned: they do not honor their commitments and have shown a blatant disregard for customer service, especially to those who deserve better. Heaven is now contemplating legal action if this isn’t resolved immediately. I strongly advise looking elsewhere if you want a reliable and respectful car-buying experience.

Wasted Trip, sales manager was a 22 year old kid that was still a child. The salesman was Great to work with. My wife and I got up and walked out due to the Sales Manager tactics.

These people are the absolute best and nicest people I have ever come across! We had a very unforeseen and odd issue happen with our car and came on a Saturday and they helped us out SO much on our trip going to Orlando. Hands down the best place if you need help with anything!!

Best car buying experience I’ve ever had hands down! We came in just to look at new Tahoes and we worked with Chris and he was absolutely amazing he was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and great to work with for our new 24 Tahoe! The General manager Charles was a huge help too! If you are in need of a new ride I highly recommend Gator and to work with Chris and Charles!

I recently bought a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado from Gator Chevy in Jasper Fl. When the truck was delivered I noticed that it had slightly over half a tank of gas in it and I thought that’s a little weird because most of the time they fill them up. The first time I went to put gas in it, gas ran out of the gas tank all over the pavement. When I got back in the truck to drive way from gas pump ( furious I might add) I noticed that the gas needle was resting exactly where it was when it was delivered. I called Gator Chevrolet and took it in so they could evaluate the problem. They found 4 holes drilled into the gas tank about half way up. The dealership refused to do anything about it. They also said that my mileage written down on the day of sale was actually more than it was at the present time by about 7,000 miles (which this sends up all kinds of red flags). I spoke to the owner of the dealership and he refused to assume responsibility and remedy the problem. I was also told by the manager of the maintenance dept that the previous owner that traded that truck had been an angry customer and that they had been trouble for Gator Chevy so she wasn’t surprised! I left very angry which is out of character for me. But it was so obvious that the owner knew what he was doing wasn’t right but he wouldn’t budge. This is a safety issue! Gas leaking, rather pouring out of my gas tank has the potential to cause all kinds of problems. I will be contacting Chevrolet to make a complaint against the dealership for what it’s worth. But if you are considering buying a vehicle from Hator Chevrolet I would seriously reconsider. I was told by the local insurance agent that they have been told by several who have purchased vehicles from them that their service has not been good. Gator Chevrolet is making a bad name for themselves locally. They don’t seem to care much about the local opinion or business. Think twice before buying from them!! I give them 1 star only so I can post.
