Excellent buying experience with Eric. Superior support (after-sales) from Jeff. He came to my home several times to show me how to use and maintain the equipment I purchased. And then there's Brian in Service. He actually answers the phone, fixes things in less than a day and gets it right the first time. Even the Parts Dept. is amazingly helpful. The prices are very reasonable and everything always seems to be in stock. Never thought I'd own a tractor but I am grateful for doing business with Smith's in Jay.

I have found that Smith Tractor provides outstanding service. I had a squirrel destroy the wiring harness on my 4066 leaving my tractor an expensive lawn ornament. I called Smith Tractor and they sent out a technician to replace the harness and I’m back in business. The service manager and technician are people and service oriented, just plain good folks to work with. Thanks again Smith Tractor. Doing business like it should be done.

I was tired of raking leaves so I went down to SMITH Tractors in Jay and purchased the Bagger accessories. The instructions are lacking but after installation the high lift blades made short work of the leaves. As a matter of fact it sucks the leaves branches and even mulch?! It picks up so well it was a bit of a problem because leaving it the “Bagger’s on to mow I would have to stopped after a couple of passes to empty the bags but they did an excellent job for what I bought it for which was the leaves. So after removing the bagger I needed some new blades and I went back to John Deere and Miss Sarah recommended the Predator blades which are also a semi high lift blades and fit/work on my X-330 riding mower. They are high quality and one Predator blade is easily heavier than both of the stock blades. They work great I definitely would recommend them. Predator Blades Part # A-B1PD5022.So if you live in or around Jay head on down to SMITH Tractor’s for parts and sales. Say hi to Miss Sarah and she will take care of your parts needs!?

I recently purchased a used John Deere tractor from Smith Tractor Company and it has been one of the best experiences I've ever had at a dealership. Eric was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. I drove 7 hours one way to go to Smith Tractor and it was well worth the drive! I only wished I lived closer so I could go there more often.
