I work in the treasure coast mall and have been in GNC a few times with no issues buying energy drinks when working a double, but I went in today and was refused service because I’m under 18. After doing research, there is no legal age requirement to buy energy drinks in the state of Florida so I was refused service for absolutely no reason. That lady was flat out rude when I even walked in the door. I had a coworker go and buy me the drinks and she even checked his id before selling him the two Alani’s. I don’t know her name specifically but that experience has genuinely left a nasty taste in my mouth as I was a genuine customer just wanting a drink.

I didn’t want to sign up for their membership so the guy would not let me purchase the item. Before they would try to guilt me into signing up and I’ve always said no. Now because I won’t give up my phone number he refused to sell me a product.Awful customer service.
