Moving to PSL next year and decided to go explore my future stomping grounds. I've now made three stops to the Snook Nook for live bait and tackle. This will be my new hometown "Go To" when l need live bait, tackle, help with my reels, fishing advice or just a darn good laugh! What a great staff that were knowledgeable, helpful and funny!! Thanks to Tony, Wally, John and the rest of the guys working over the weekend of Oct 18-21st who helped me but who's names l can't remember. I'll be back, hopefully sooner than later!

Horrible customer service called to ask a question about a fishing license and the guy that I was speaking to told me he doesn’t sell them knows nothing about them not looking good snook nook Will never recommend another customer to this location if you’re reading this and you want a nice tackle shop look up fishing center in Fort Pierce I just had a question. Didn’t want to buy one already bought.
I didn’t need or want to buy a license I already have 1 but my question was……regarding what comes with a lifetime license snook stamp lobster stamp etc but never gave me a chance to ask just plain rude your lost was ft fishing center gain spent over 1k on gear today tight lines

This place must be owned by the Democrats because they charged me $4 a piece for some croaker fish to go fishing with and there was nearly dead when I would fishing in that fishing Community it was garbage stood there for Lee Street hours and nobody caught nothing there are definitely keeping the fish out of there like they don't want you to catch any fish it's all for their profits and nothing for the people that's fishing their wasting their time people kept on asking me if I had any luck like it's a setup very bad fishing area I've never seen anything that bad before.

I managed the Jones Beach Bait and Tackle Shop in New York for over 10 years, serving tens of thousands of customers. Recently, I relocated to Ocean Breeze, Florida, and began frequenting our local bait and tackle shop, "The Snook Nook." This shop is truly remarkable, offering a wide variety of tackle and bait—an absolutely fantastic place! Everyone there has been incredibly helpful, generously sharing their knowledge, tips, and information on hook sizes for various local species.
Today, as I will likely do five days a week, I visited the shop, intending to give them a lot of business. However, today's visit was a bit different. I posed a question that fishermen have been asking me for years—nothing specific, just a different approach to targeting snapper locally. John’s body language suggested arrogance. He didn't smile once, and his response to my request for some fishing advice was a curt and dismissive, "Good luck."

Came in this shop to buy a reel for shark fishing and a surf rod, the employees were very helpful in helping me decide on a rod and reel and were very acknowledgeable about what hooks/baits/lures to use. They not once tried to push me for a product of higher price and were honest in their sales tactics. Prices were very fair/ reasonable for a local tackle shop. Would highly recommend to locals or visitors.
