Setting the appointment was easy, and being able to have it on a Saturday was great. They completed the work much faster than I expected and the price was far less than the dealership would charge. “First time using Braun Autowerkes, but the shop came highly recommended by another local mechanic. My 18-year-old Mercedes E350 had been a little neglected and was overdue for a thorough inspection and some TLC. Charlie did a complete diagnostic and visual inspection, and the results were actually better than I expected. There were a few smaller items, but overall, the car was in surprisingly good condition. I originally took it in because I thought I had an engine problem. Charlie diagnosed the issue and recommended replacing the engine and transmission mounts. He sent me the inspection report with photos supporting his recommendations and was very upfront about what needed attention, what didn't, and what everything would cost, prior to doing the service. At first, I questioned how much difference replacing the mounts could really make on an 18-year-old car. I was even wondering whether putting more money into it made sense versus buying something newer. I'm glad I listened to him. The difference has been transformative. The problem I thought was engine-related is completely gone, and the car is incredibly smooth, quiet, comfortable, and capable again. It’s hard for me to believe that such a significant improvement could have come from just replacing the mounts. So, I'm half convinced Charlie did something else to it off the books because it honestly drives and performs better than at any point since I bought it six years and 80,000 miles ago. Charlie clearly works on some very high-end European cars, so my old E-Class is probably a bit of a junker by comparison, but he treated both me and my car with the same level of care and respect. It's not always easy to find someone who really knows older German cars and is honest about what they actually need. I feel like I've finally found that person. If you're thinking about breathing new life into an older Mercedes or other German car, Charlie is definitely someone I'd recommend. Assuming the car keeps cooperating, I can honestly see keeping it another five years. By then it'll probably still only have around 200,000 miles, so with Charlie's help, this old Benz may still be my daily driver while it's knocking on the door of classic-car status. They even have a loyalty program that lets you accumulate rewards that can be used for future services. Not many places do that! Every time we go there for service, they give us quality service at a great price, but also don’t come up with 5 more things wrong with the car. They do identify areas of concern, and let us know realistically a timeline for getting them fixed. And the customer service is outstanding. For example, this week my wife drove over a screw got a flat tire, and noticed it when she went out to the garage to leave for work. So we did what we always do, call the car people we trust. The owners son Hunter came out and removed the screw, and patched the hole in the tire for us. IN THE GARAGE! This type of personal service is why we will always keep going back to them, and why we recommend to all of our friends that they take this cars to All-County!”

I mentioned I have a mechanic I use closer to my house, and he gave me an alternate route home to avoid driving on 95. I asked what the charge would be, and he refused any money!
