Custom Door shop recently replaced our front door with an impact rated one. The entire process from selecting door details to completing installation was a pleasure. Each person we interacted was knowledgeable and friendly.We were so impressed with their work that we chose to have them install new impact windows as well. I would highly recommend their work to anyone looking to upgrade their windows and/or doors.

This is my third hurricane door purchase in Florida and by far the most satisfying. Sales helped us pick out the right door for our house, customer service was top notch and installation was the best. The door is unique and adds significant value to our house.

From the buying experience with Courtney all the way through installation,these people are amazing. The two installers were some of the best workmanship I've seen. Office kept in touch with me to make sure everything was going good and guys cleaned up every night. Couldn't be more happy!

When you spend BIG $$$$ for a custom door, you expewct that the ccompany you purchase that door from would stand behind their product. Custom Door Shop......hides behind a supposed warranty! "Yes the door is defective, we'll replace the one door, but not the glass, and you will have to get it stained to match the other" Is that a warranty? I think not.

Our home was hit by a tornado last April with extensive damage. Our front door was one of the many things we needed to get repaired. We looked at several different door companies and we decided to use Custom Door Shop. We worked with Courtney who was extremely knowledgeable with the there products the process and helping us make the right choices. We held them to a very tight timeline and they came through. Great installation, fair price and easy to work with. I would highly recommend considering them if you are in the market for a quality hurricane door.

This is the second time I used custom door shop and they were excellent. There was a slight installation defect where the door gap was too small (<1/16”) and caused impingement when the door swells slightly due to the weather. Tom the technician quickly diagnosed the problem and resolved it. The door is beautiful and only slightly more than the typical higher end doors. You can use this business with confidence.

Our Experience with Custom Door Shop was Absolutely Superb!We were able to find the type of entrance doors with the architectural styling, wood options and quality we were desiring at Custom Door Shop on our first visit. Staff were attentive, personable and knowledgable. The owner, James, and two of his installer/craftsmen met at our residence to review the details of the installation. This job involved the complete replacement of the existing (non hurricane rated) doors, framework and threshold, and upgrading all to the latest Miami-Dade hurricane standards.The entire process, from selection of the doors, to the ordering and installation was seamless, enjoyable and professional. We had a wonderful scheduling experience with Christina and follow up.Most importantly, we were extremely impressed with our fabulous Installer, John! He is an awesome, meticulous, Master Carpenter and Craftsmen. He not only did a wonderful job, but was a true pleasure to work with and made sure to keep everything nice and clean throughout the process. John is extremely conscientious and takes great pride in the work he produces. By far the best construction experience I have had at my home.Christina, provided excellent service and knowledge, answering all my questions and made sure I knew what to expect from start to finish. Great door and excellent installation. People are good to work with and responsive until final payment.The jamb extension and outside trim were extended too low. Granted, I was out of town the day the installer came back to install the extension and ext trim. When I emailed a request to have someone come back and cut the jamb extension and exterior casing up, I even offered to pay for it. Eric at CDS replied and said he would send to service but I never heard back from anyone. I have emailed two more times and give up. Even a professional “no” would be appreciated. Ignoring your customer until they go away is a bad practice.You guys and your product are better than that.1/28/23 - After reading my post, the manager called back and explained the tech never relayed the message and no longer work there. I rescheduled they came out and did a fantastic job. Thank you!

I have been dealing with an ongoing door issue for almost 1 year. They have the worst customer service. They lie to you!! I have spoken to the owners Trupti and James. I am still waiting for a call back or email from them. Stay away from custom door shop, you can find much better places for doors and windows.

Had them install hurricane windows and front door over 3 years ago when there was another owner. I have had issues with my front door which has warped . I have contacted original owners and new owners multiple times. At first they tell me warranty is up. I have been complaining before the warranty was up. We were never told not to buy a mahogany wood door, which was very expensive!! We are even willing to purchase at a reasonable price a new fiberglass door. The owner Trupti said she would give us a price. Now she will not get back to us. I have called numerous times with no response. The customer service is horrible!! We own a business and would never treat our customers like this. Stay away, there are much better window and door companies to choose from. Extremely disappointed.
