Glen Schanel has done my taxes for over ten years. Every year I have followed his instructions in making my estimated tax payments. This year IRS notified me that there was a problem with my return. I repeated to Mr. Schanel the conversation we had in which he advised me to lower my final estimated tax payment last year due to the elimination of the IRA RMD. Instead of addressing and helping with the discrepancy his reply in an angry, raised voice was, "Bullsh*t." He finished the conversation in his same angry voice and said "You're not worth it. Go somewhere else," and then hung up on me. I was and still am shocked beyond words. He left me in a very bad situation with my taxes due in 7 days and no idea what to pay. You decide if that is where you want to do business.
