This place provided me with an incorrectly written prescription and I was asked by Costco to get the correct information so I could get my contact lenses. Came back and politely asked to get my prescription filled completely so I could purchase my contacts. Was told there was nothing they could do. That is the way they give you the info and so sorry no access to the doctor to revise prescription nothing they can do but I can buy my contacts from them. So I basically paid for an eye exam for contacts and lost my money unless I purchase from them. What a scam. Because they practice telehealth eye exams they have no access to the doctor. Do not lose your time or money coming to this place .

I have had both ”ok” and terrible experiences at this location. I can’t say that I have ever had an excellent experience however.
My “ok” experience is that they delivered glasses within a somewhat reasonable period of time (never less than 2-3 weeks though) that worked (usually). I have brought glasses back to be reworked because they were delivered with the incorrect prescriptions as well. So after waiting two or three weeks to get a new pair of glasses, they come in wrong and it takes another two weeks or so to get an optic changed.
On other occasions, I have not been as fortunate. Most recently I brought my wife’s prescription sunglasses BACK in because the UV coating had de-laminated (that is separating from the glass underneath).
The good news is that she had purchased a warranty for this. When she purchased this warranty they did inform her that she would be responsible for 20% of the cost.
The bad news is that the 20% in this case is $155!!! They did not tell her that that would be the number at the time.
I’m going to guess that she was charged somewhere around $79 at the time for both the UV and the antireflective coating stay over on the glass.
This means that Stanton is claiming it normally costs somewhere around $780 to coat a single optic, and after then paying for the warranty, your cost is $155. Can you believe the audacity of this company? It is in their best interest for the product to fail because even when you’re only paying 20% they’re making a ton of money.
I’ve personally worked in the optics business for decades and know that this is complete bullshit. Even on a “rework” basis (where they have to take the old coating off first), the cost is nowhere near this. They are screwing their customers by “selling up” a warranty that still ends up in such a significant out-of-pocket expenditure.
The store manager who delivered that information could not even look me in the eye when I challenged him as to why 20% would equal over $150 (on top of the money that was paid for the service in the first place and THEN on top of the cost of the warranty itself).
My wife’s glasses were not damaged as a result of abuse, instead, there was workmanship and quality problem at Stanton Optical.
The store refused to do anything on their own nickel even though it clearly was a quality / workmanship problem. The manager showed no concern for my problem.
I have dealt with this store (Indiantown Road, Jupiter, FL) because of the convenience that the location provides me. Both my wife and I have had eye exams, and purchased multiple pairs of glasses and contacts over the years at this and other Stanton locations.
Following this experience, I will never deal with Stanton Optical again. This was the proverbial “straw that broke the camel’s back” for me. There are simply too many choices to work with an operation that takes advantage of their customers.

I went to Stanton Optical on Indiantown for the first time this morning and it was honestly a great experience. It was quick but not rushed, and the manager, Jose, and the optical technician, Tianna, were both awesome!

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for eyeglasses or contact lenses. Dennis was very helpful. Im from out of town and he helped me. The customer service went above and beyond any other eyeglass store I have been to! The prices were great and was definitely a good value.

I went in with three damaged frames, one of which I was sure was beyond repair. But Nate took them and had them all as good as new in 15 min or less, and no charge!

As a first time customer at Stanton Optical, I was blown away by my experience today. Dennis provided the utmost customer service and patiently assisted me with insurance coverage questions and selecting the perfect frames. I had two pair of sunglasses not purchased at Stanton ( although I have purchased from them before); one that needed the screw replaced and the other that needed to be sized. After calling three other optical shops in the area, all whom refused, Nate at Stanton on Indiantown Road was most gracious. On the phone he was inviting and when I arrived at the center 15 minutes before it closed he was also patient and kind in helping me with both of my sunglasses at no cost!
It’s rare to find this kind of above and beyond service and I will certainly be bringing any of my optical business back to them. In particular I will make sure that I visit the Indiantown store when Nate is there.
I am so appreciative of his excellent help.

We have been going to Stanton for years. Their service has been fantastic. This last trip Dennis went above and beyond in making sure I was taken care of. I watched as he delt with a rush of customers professionally and kindly. There was one customer with a particularly poor attitude. Dennis did not let it bother him. He was helpful, reasonable and he won them over with kindness.
This man deserves a raise! Great store, wonderful staff! Keep up the good work!

Stanton Optical is the irl Claritin. I can see clearly now, even when the rain is gone. Staff is amazing. Service was great.
