Would have given less than one star if, possible. Claims to be open Monday through Friday but, were closed and that was on a Thursday during the day.

This place is great for a quick stop! I’ve had a nail in my tire twice in the past year and was in and out of there in less than 10 min. Fair pricing, great service, and friendly people.

My son is currently a full time Uber driver. As such he sometimes gets home early in the morning. On a Saturday morning I noticed he had a flat. I figured he wouldn't be up until 3 or 4pm so I he could miss Saturday night driving which is his most lucrative night, I had to step in. I was able to get 7lbs of air in the tire with a small auxiliary pump, just enough to drive it in for repair. I tried tire kingdom in Jupiter but they were slammed. I would have had to leave the car all day for a tire repair. I checked Yelp and found Tikal. I called in advance and the woman in charge said to bring it over. I arrived and a young man directed me to back in. He initially tried to find the offending nail without removing the tire but in the end he had to. He quickly found the nail, removed it and plugged the hole, and reinstalled the tire. The charge was $20. I gave the young man $5 tip because he was so efficient. I inquired about mounting and balancing tires as my son will need new tires in about a year, and I plan on buying on tire rack and have them delivered to Tikal for installation. It's also a family owned business which I prefer so given my good experience, I plan to use them in the future.

I don't typically write reviews of businesses, especially ones that I don't have a great experience at, but after my visit to Tikal today I was compelled to throw in my two cents. This was my second visit to this shop. On my first visit, service was top notch, but more importantly, everyone was polite. I left work on my lunch break and arrived when there wasn't anyone else waiting for service so the tech Isaias was able to take care of me right away. After he finished, I went into the office to pay the lady who works in the office. The cost of the two tires and ONE replacement valve stem was right on and the work was quick and professional and the lady seemed stoked I stopped by. It wasn't until I got back to work that I noticed I was charged for TWO valve stems which I will claim as my fault as I didn't review the invoice in detail before paying. $5 mistake is hardly anything to complain about so I went on with my life. Fast forward a couple of months to today. I should have called the shop before leaving work but I figured it would go as smoothly as the first time so I just went for it. When I arrived there were at least two cars ahead of me so I knew it wouldn't be a quick turn around but I was prepared to wait. No big deal. My issue this time is that one of my wheel weights fell off over the weekend causing my rear wheel to wobble pretty bad when reaching highway speeds. I don't know if the lady in the office assumed I was blaming them for the now damaged tire, even though I speak fluent Spanish, but she was immediately standoffish when I mentioned the weight having fallen off. She told me NO Impossible repeatedly and said that the wheel is bad and I needed to replace it and that the wheel weight had nothing to do with it. I told her that I understood, that's why I came down to the shop, but I said that I was pretty sure the wheel became unbalanced due to the missing weight, which then damaged the tire. You know, cause and effect. The wheel was working perfectly until I drove over 45 mph and felt something was off. When I pulled over to check, everything was ok except I noticed one of the wheel weights was missing (you can tell because there is an outline where it once sat on the rim). My explanation made this lady get even more irate and tell me in front of other customers (yelling at this point no less) the two things had absolutely nothing to do with one another and basically told me I was wrong and that she has 12 years of experience and an absolute knowledge of the matter. So you are telling me that if a wheel is out of balance, and you drive it at 65 mph for about 20 miles, that will result in NO tire damage? GTFOOH. Twelve years of answering phones and looking up tire sizes really shows. Like it even matters LOL I just wanted a used tire! She mumbled a bunch of other aggressive sounding stuff and then angrily said that they didn't have the tire at all WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT THE TIRE SIZE NEEDED which I Interpreted as: F-U I Win. Ugh. Time wasted and tire condition worsened. Lesson learned. All that aside, what really got me to write this review is that this lady was above and beyond RUDE AF to a returning customer who until today had been praising Tikal and recommending them to everyone. Well, office lady, YOU WIN! You win my $5 and you win your expert level knowledge AT THE LOSS OF YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND RETURN BUSINE$$. I get that businesses can choose to deny service to anyone but this was the most unusual flex I have ever seen at a used tire shop. If you happen to visit this shop, I would avoid the lady in the office, if not for her customer service, absolutely for her lack of knowledge. oh and she over charged me by $5 :)

I had a flat tire and decided to stop at Tikal for a repair. After a short wait they removed the wheel with the flat and started working on it. I realized I forgot to ask about pricing. When the job was done and the bill was given it was very reasonable and competitive. It was a pleasant surprise to not have any pressure for new tires or other services. The tire repair was done properly and I was on my way quickly. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely return with any tire needs but I would also highly recommend them (there's a reason the reviews are so positive).

Super solid tire shop that can throw on a gently used, or of course a new, tire in a pinch. Friendly people and locally owned. Would recommend them and would prefer to support them over a big chain tire shop any day. Highly recommend.

I went there with a nail in my tire and they were so honest to say that it had not punctured, but was a very short one and they took it out and tested the tire. They did not even charge me, but I gave them a five dollar tip very very honest people.
