0 stars is what they deserve.I was sold based on the sales pitch from Clint, only to find out what he said they would do, when it came to install everything they wouldn’t or can’t do.The guys show up once a month if you’re lucky, to do the work they are contracted to do. Also, show up at 10am, leave at 3:30pm.Getting someone on the phone or to call you back is a chore.Terrible project management, communication, accountability.I’m not calling them liars, but they didn’t tell me the truth about what I was buying.

Wish I had never found this company. AWEFUL experience from the beginning! Have paid for 1yr of contract after moving for NO service. Customer service is a joke. Won't answer questions IF they answer at all.

Very happy with the service I received from Ryan and Chaz. They were very professional, informative, neat and fast with the install of my security system for my new home. Ryan was very patient and helpful with helping me understand and install the app on my phone .Great job. I highly recommend this company. Thank you!

I have had Vortex at my business since they acquired my previous provider. I think it is around a decade now. They have been absolutely great! Always took care of any problems promptly and their service tech Caesar is amazing!!

About a year in and I really regret signing up with this company. System does not work as intended, they promise to follow up with a solution, all I get is a run around until I eventually don’t hear back from them. Look for a better provider.

Buyer beware. If I could give Vortex 0 stars, I would. From the 3 hour sales pitch where we were promised impossible things, to the 10+ hours of work & multiple days it took to get our security system installed, nothing with Vortex has been easy or smooth.To add salt to the wound, we cancelled our contract with Vortex 3 months ago and continue to get charged every single month. Each month we have to call, explain the situation, tell them we cancelled, and each month we still get an invoice.There are so, so many other security companies out there. Don't give Vortex any of your time or money.

I have been using Vortex for almost four years.. Recently, I had a problem with my panel. A service tech was here within two hours and repaired it. They are a great company. I highly recommend them. The pricing is competitive.

Met a sales representative for Vortex several years ago, he always talked about customer service, no contracts, fast response times. I purchased a home, called Vortex for an alarm system with camera. Came out of pocket with $2,000 for system and $53/month monitoring. 3 months went by and due to a defect in the home our family had to move out. I called Vortex to cancel service I was told I had a 36 month monitoring contract. I asked to suspend service until our attorney could determine our housing status and was told no. I paid for 32 months for service on a home that my family could not live in. At no time was a 36 month contract mentioned to me. In April 2022 I called Vortex and paid off the account in full for the remaining months and cancel services. I have been charged the monitoring fee each month since and can not get them to stop. Each time I call its another reason or another email they claim not to have received. Beware of their sales tactics and contract language and terms. Ask these questions up front, don't take a sales representatives word.

They botched the install on my new home and Kevin Johnson said he would refund us but it’s been several weeks and he will not return calls or emails. The window sensors installed were not the proper ones for the size of my home, we continue to get “tamper”alerts due to faulty sensors, and I’ve had each technician service my home and each time they have left the window they’re working in wide open, and they also never have the correct sensors on the truck so it’s resulted in several return trips. The Saleman I worked with became indignant when I discussed the issues with him. Kevin Johnson stated that he would provide us with a FULL refund and let us keep the installed equipment because they can’t find our original equipment that they replaced. However, after many many emails and phone calls, Kevin Johnson refuses to take our call. We still don’t have our refund. There is a reason why people pay a bit more to use the bigger name security companies. Vortex doesn’t compete, and you definitely get what you pay for. We’ll be persuing this legally if we don’t receive a timely response.

Install had issues I had to wait over a week to have resolved. 1st appointment was missed and had to reschedule. Provider had offered 2nd month credit, I was still billed, they offered to provide it on the following bill and I was charged again. System does not work as intended. Wish I went with another provider.

We have had a phenomenal experience with Vortex. Their people are experienced and pleasant to work with. They delivered as promised, and are always available when we need them. Our sales rep Chris is professional and courteous, and our installer Cesar has been amazing. We use them for both residential and business. Would recommend to anyone

Absolutely 1st class from when I called Bill on the recommendation of a neighbor, to the install performed by Ryan. Pricing is fair, technology is incredible and very user friendly. What a pleasant surprise after having to deal with the "other" company who came out 8 times and still could not get it right ! Awesome job Bill and crew !
