Some things were delicious, others normal. The salmon was burnt on the outside, the flavor was good. The correct flavor steak, good point. The bread in that style is better than focaccia. The original bread-pizza was easy to eat, but normal pizza was tastier. The pasta casserole reminded me of Sardinian fregola. They got things out quickly

I was in town and my brother who lives a bit south of where I’m staying in Kendall said he’d take me out to dinner. We opted for the Brick and when I first got there, I thought this had a nice city vibe outside. The restaurant next store had soft live music and the food and drink menu looked great. I ordered an $12 glass of Italian Pino Grigio and my brother gave me a funny look, so I assured him, I’d pay for it. ?Could that be the reason I didn’t get the wine until I was nearly done with my food? I didn’t understand that at all. Several times, I considered just canceling it. As it was, I didn’t get to finish it. I ordered the starter salad with the ball of soft cheese. The description said heirloom tomatoes. No-these were hard tasteless cherry tomatoes. The toast was disappointing and when my brother tried it, he said it was just plain stale. There were too many greens and not much else and more salad dressing couldn’t make it taste better. My brother said the same thing about his spinach salad. We loved the garlic asparagus and the tomato bisque and garlic bread were fantastic. So, it was a mixed bag. I bet they do have some excellent dishes but it was an off night for us.

this was genuinely one of the best restaurants i’ve been to. the music was great — not too loud not too quiet. the food was outstanding— the presentation, taste, style. the atmosphere was rustic, cosy and eccentric. the service was top notch. if i could eat here everyday i would. this was an amazing experience. please go here if you have the chance.

Phenomenal food. One of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at. Highly recommend the shrimp spinach dip and the wagyu burger.

The restaurant admosphere is good. The expertise of the waitress was not at the level. We ordered scallops which were six in the dish, but only four were served . The parking validation should be done as soon as you sit at your table. We waited until it was time to leave and the waitress was trying to avoid providing us with the validation, saying the they ran out of them. At the end, she went to the next door restaurant to get our tickets validated. The food was good. Kudos to the chef, but the service was not.

The food here is always amazing. The short rib and hanger steak is a must try! Ask for Nicolas (Nico). He provides excellent service and is extremely helpful with recommendations.

Food was OK. Ordered turkey club, which was just a turkey sandwich, not layered as expected. Yuca chips were great. Friends ordered avocado Greek salad, one had romaine, other had arugula, neither had more than a quarter of a hass avocado. Not enough staff. One person out front, one in the kitchen. That's the reason for the service rating. Rosa was great when she was able to get to us.

First of all: the service. The attention, the care and the dedication. We felt like we were the only ones. That made the entire experience way better. The food was out of this world. My picky kid loved the Mac and cheese. Every single dish was delicious. Definitely, we will keep coming back.

We had a reservation for Sunday brunch. When we arrived it wasn't too crowded. I noticed that the bartender was also the only server that seemed available. She was busy making brunch cocktails and attending to outside tables. It turned ok a little why to get our bottle of sparkling wine. Then the tables started filling up and another server or two showed up. The newer tables had their orders taken before we could get the servers attention. Once we ordered and got our meals one meal the poached eggs were hard boiled. It seems that there was a lack of a manager on duty ensuring proper flow.

We, party of three arrived at 11:10 for The Brick American's newly reactivated Brunch menu. A party of two was the only other guests in the restaurant. No hostess greeted us. The cook saw us and advised we could seat ourselves. We were provided with lunch and bar menu. We requested the Brunch menu and two of us ordered the avacado greek salad. What arrived were one version with romaine and a 1/6 wedge of a Haas avacado with black spots, while the other received limp Arugula and a similar 1/6 wedge of avacado with the same black spots. One hour into the meal, we were asked to move down and surrender one of the two tables that we were sitting at to create seating for a party of 10. No compensation was provided for this inconvenience. I left unsatisfied with this meal.

Superb service, superb food, beautiful environment. I absolutely love this place. The entire menu is really great, however I cannot stress enough how badly you NEED to try the truffle fries.

The balsamic and goat cheese flatbread I got was hard as a rock and drier than the Sahara. The so-called peach cobbler was canned peaches with some granular substance put on top–it had nothing to do with a peach cobbler. Our waiter was helping anybody else but us. We asked another waiter to bring us the bill, and he only pointed at our waiter. We then waited longer. Eventually, we got up to ask for the bill because we had had enough. We will not be back.
