“Some shelves are almost bare! One of the more organized then the others. They've got Coca-Cola products on sale three 12 packs for $11 not one Diet Coke into stores I don't understand that there's at least 50 Coca-Cola 12 packs but no Diet Coke that's not a good sale!”

“I went here to buy big huge bag of dry dog food that my dog eats. Shelves were empty. I’m disabled and it’s difficult for me to get out and drive to store to begin with so I was distressed that I’d now need to go to another location. I asked employee, Heather, if she’d check in back for unstocked new shipments and she gladly stopped what she was doing and returned with the bag I needed! “Amazing compared to my other option two blocks away AVOID:Family Dollar their store is always a cluttered mess has smell of a pet store or better yet its likely odor of RODENTS infestation.Specifically SMELLED of rodent matter!!! DOLLAR GENERAL is THE BEST!! NEVER had nor ever seem to have a disgusting SMELLS/ odors. LALWAYS has PLEASANT odor perfect for my neighborhood Storecompared to Family Dollar.”

“I stoped by the dollar general to pick up just a few last minute things for the holidays. Super stressed out and tired as I’m sure everyone is this time of year, and then I got to meet their lovely employee Josh. He was so upbeat, cheerful, and helpful. He defines holiday spirit. After I checked out he noticed a stalled out car in front of the store, and after making sure the registers were covered he and another employee helped push the car into safety in a spot, and he joyfully went right back to work. I feel the Dollar general is lucky to have such a positive and hard working employee. The holiday season is difficult for everyone especially this year but he was able to bring a smile to my day. I will definitely be returning because of his uplifting attitude.”

“The poor girl who was there by herself was really trying to do it all. She was stocking when someone got to the register. Then the phone rang. The poor thing is earning her paycheck. The store had a great selection. I found two things i had been looking everywhere for. They just need to GET SOME HELP.!!”
“While I've always had a good experience at this Dollar Tree, over the last couple of month there has really been a big improvement. The shelves are stocked, the store is organized, and the staff is super friendly. Being so close to our apartment complex, St Charles Row, it's so convenient to get some quick minor things we need.”
“Been coming here since February after moving a mile down the road! Been coming here several times a week, to avoid Walmart at all costs!! Chilled laid back and friendly vibe from all the employees I’ve met over the past 6 months. They have a variety of products that are mostly cheaper then Walmart and other stores nearby.Employees: awesome awesome awesome! Everyone of the them! Starting with Julia who I remember from January when I visited a month before moving here! Julia is super friendly, cool, and always goes out of her way to help you find what your are looking for! She greets everyone In a friendly manner it makes you feel comfortable shopping around the store! Chris, their new hire already knows how to handle everything and he’s only been there a couple days! Can’t remember the names of all the employees right now so shout out to the red beard guy who I call family dollar spiritual guru! Lady of rage with her awesome hair And quick wit! Super awesome manager from Akron Ohio my home state! Red haired lady who takes all my change when I got to get rid of my change! My bud who always messes with me every time I’m in there and trolls me he knows what I’m talking about! You guys are family Dollar superheroes!Pricing: Prizing here is cheaper on a lot of its products. Food here is more expensive than Walmart in my opinion though but everything else from deodorant to household supplies is much much cheaper so it balances out!Overall This family dollar is my favorite family dollar including back home where I’m from and everywhere else I’ve lived! Fantastic job Family Dollar on Roosevelt! Thank you for all your awesome service, products, the most important are your friendly employees! “I love Dollar Trees, but this is the best one we have visited. We are in from out of state and needed some snacks and toiletry items and they had tons of great options. Banana Boat sunscreen $1.25 for 3 oz (it is $12 for 7oz at the grocery), Harry and David’s flavored coffee, tons of great cosmetic items, etc. the staff was helpful when we needed to locate something. I highly recommend this store!”
“This is the cleanest store around. The freezer section is excellent and so neat that you could find a needle in a haystack. And your employee Mike went into the back to find something I needed that wasn't stocked and went above a beyond for me. Please give him some type of kudos because even when he works the register he is kind and making it enjoyable to shop there. Too bad he doesn't work more offend.”
“Cashier was very nice, helpful.smiled.Store was decent, low on merchandise, but that may be due to inventory?Trash cans outside at entry were so full they were over flowing.I reccomend they be changed out at least 2 times a day. “I absolutely love the manager there (Don) as well as the assistant manager (Doug) they are both very hard workers but also make me laugh on a regular basis. I use to live near the DG Don worked at before he was transferred to this store. When he was transferred I was so sad to see him go. Lucky for me I moved a couple months after he was transferred and am now by his store again. Even more luck when I heard Doug was also transferred here. I give Don and Doug a lot of credit that's for sure. There is a lot that needs to be done in that store in terms of stocking the shelves BUT you've only got so many people that work there. Ave unfortunately there are people who will work the register and then when they're not busy just stand around rather than finding something to do. Not everyone is like that but there are a few. And the reason they do it is because they know they can. They know that it's hard to get people to work these days and that they need all the help they can get. Therefore they take advantage of the situation to the FULLEST!!”

“Shoutout to this location and Racer!! We had a last minute thanksgiving fiasco and needed some ingredients, but of course nothing was open at 3:45pm. We saw that this location was still open and stopped by to grab vital ingredients and they had everything we needed! There was no line, the store was clean and well stocked, and the man who helped us was the sweetest. He thanked us for coming in and made us feel welcome even for just a short exchange. I believe his name was Racer. He deserves credit for helping us saving our thanksgiving and alleviate a lot of stress!”

Danny, Kelly and Sabrina were working on the registers and greeting folks as they entered the store on 12/08/22 and made my shopping experience a delight. Their friendly conversations with customers were often filled with laughter and pleasantries. Everyone including myself left happier then when they entered. That’s quite a gift. “This is my neighborhood store and I'm here at least 3 times a week sometimes. The staff has gotten to know me and my family and even recognize my son and his likes at local restaurants, because they're your neighbors too. They're also probably overworked and underpaid. If you're just stopping in and they're a little frazzled, please don't base your impression off one visit. I guarantee regular customers would say something different because they truly care.”
