Best grocery store ever. Epic sandwiches (try the "MIGUELITO" as-is). Mgmt and workers are usually extremely helpful and nice. Once they brought a box of pasta to me as a favor after closing time since I didn't have a vehicle at the time. Also AMAZING hot / Prepared-Food Options. Everything from BEEF Ribs that literally fall [Completely-Off] the bone, to a very fine version of PAELLA, & even a Super-rare, {though-not-under-cooked at all} Super-Rare PRIME RIB ROAST good for entrees or Sandwiches. Professional bakers & French Desert MAkers on staff.

I love this place. Delicious sandwiches and when you go during the holidays, it's overflowing with all kinds of treats. It's on the pricier side, but they have great selections.

When buying products from golden hog I highly suggest doing a thorough look at the expiration dates. Not sure why when I went in to buy a pasta sauce I noticed half of the bottles on the inventory are 6 months past the expiration date. Not to mention the prices here are incredibly high, make sure you get products that aren't expired. Also worth going to windixie for simple things like kombucha or produce, as a kombucha is $3.59 at WD and nearly 7 dollars for the same brand at Golden Hog.

One if the best places in Key Biscayne, seems the old Deean & Deluca at SoHo New York City

Neat little high-end grocery shop with several gift options as well. The service experience didn't disappoint either. It was our first time visiting and we didn't know how the hot table ordering worked. We got some inaccurate information from an apologetic new employee that resulted in an inflated price. Harold, the manager, found a quick solution to ensure our first visit was a pleasant one. Looking forward to coming back.

There are no prices over the drinks. I ended up paying $14 for a bottle of organic coconut juice. Ridiculous. I couldn't find the prices for the "serve yourself" food either!!! I later see it's in a place not exactly easily seen. When I asked the cashier how it works, She only told me you get the food and we weigh it. She didn't tell me price. I didn't ask for price per pound because I was in a hurry and figured it wasn't going to be too bad. I expected a little pricey but, $18 per pound.... ridiculous. I only had a few items on my plate and it was...1.2 pounds so $26...for a chicken leg, a few shrimp, a little rice, and some salad!!!! Nothing special. The shrimp tasted extremely soft and soggy!!! My boyfriend and I both got the same food. He got an iced tea. I can't remember the price. The soup was $6 which I feel was okay.. expected expensive price...the soup was good The grand total with tax was $76!!!!!!! For this and 2 plates of not much and we both ended up with stomach aches for 2 days!!!!!! I'm thinking it was the shrimp!!!! Or the chicken but the shrimp was too soft and mushy for shrimp. It was gross. There isn't even a waitress. So expensive. It's not like we are being waited at a table. It's like a grocery store!!! Some of your food might be gourmet, but the food we served ourselves was not gourmet, the self serve shrimp was gross, and it was too expensive!!

Fantastic boutique grocer / deli / cafe in a simple strip mall. Plenty of parking and a few tables / chairs for those who want to sit outside.Great fruit / vegetable, cheese and wine selection. A lot of imported items that you won’t find elsewhere in Miami. It’s not inexpensive but - small as it is - it’s a premium experience w/ very friendly and helpful service.

I highly recommend trying the sandwiches at this place, especially the Italian one – it's absolutely amazing! The combination of flavors and ingredients they use is top-notch. But it doesn't stop there; their dessert selection is equally fantastic. It's a culinary journey that you won't want to miss. Whether you're in the mood for a savory sandwich or a sweet treat, this place has you covered with exceptional options.

I love this place. I'd been looking for a good gourmet market for awhile and was very excited when I visited the Golden Hog for the first time today. Surprisingly, it is a one stop shop for pretty much anything you'd need. I think it's rare to find gourmet grocery stores that carry everything, but this one seemed to. They have a great selection of cheese, meats, mustards, artisan jams and honeys, wine, and olives - most of which are from European brands. They have so many European snacks, cookies, candies, and cooking and baking ingredients. They also have a vast selection of fresh produce as well as what looked to be fresh pastries - however I'm not sure if they're made in house or sourced elsewhere. There is a fresh fish counter as well, which I was excited to see. I was looking for fresh bread, but unless I missed it, I didn't see anything special. They do carry typical brands, like Dave's Killer Bread, but if you're looking for a freshly baked loaf, you'd probably want to rely on a nearby bakery. I didn't try any of their made to order food because I didn't stop in around a meal time, but I plan to in the future. They have a few tables to sit at if you choose to dine in. It is reasonably priced relative to what you'd find at other grocers, but this market is much higher quality. The more expensive products are unique European imports, so it's understandable. The employees were extremely kind - the cheesemonger gave us a sample and a thorough explanation of some cheeses. Overall, shopping here was a lovely experience.
