Highly recommend! Outstanding, quality service!! I’ve experienced being overcharged at other places, but Charlie’s Garage did not take advantage of me - as so many other places attempt to do when they see a single female. I can’t express how much I appreciate this. They have earned my respect and my highest recommendation.

I brought my car to get an oil change. They were able to get to my car quickly, which was nice. But I'm pretty sure they messed up my drain plug, because they ordered me a new one without asking me first. Regardless, they charged me for 6 quarts of oil even though my car only holds 4.2. When I asked if I could pay for the oil change over the phone (which was $123!!) they said, "No, you need to send us your credit card info to our email address". I thought that was strange, but I was working so I just wanted to get it over with. The receptionist told me the email address 3 times and I even wrote it down and repeated it back to her. When I emailed my info, she said she never got it. She gave me the WRONG email address. So I sent my credit card information to some stranger!! I had to cancel my card immediately.
I had been going to Charlie's for about 3 years. I know they always try to rip me off because I'm a woman. Whenever my husband dropped off my car, they always charged way less. I only took my car there when I had no other choice. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially women. If you can make the trip up to Homestead, take your car to Walmart for oil changes. They charge half the price and won't try to rip you off.

Charlie's Garage was highly recommended to me by several people in the community. My experience with a recent car repair at Charlie's was very positive. The car is running better than ever, and I was kept informed of the process every step of the way. I'm a loyal customer now.

My car is still having problems and when I called Charlie, he said to bring it in and they would take another look at it and take care of it. They guarantee the work and that makes me feel a whole lot better about taking my car to them.

Excellent service. Our clutch on an old classc Saab broke on vacation. With 94K original miles it was due for rebuild anyways and I was happy with the options and work conducted by Charlie.
