“We were surprised at the amount of effort this shelter goes through, to ensure the animals end up in a favorable environment for them. Most of the animals that arrived at a shelter are the result of human’s neglect ( for different circumstances) but all animals are already traumatized. Yes! They are making sure they don’t end back in a dire situation. We adopted a 10 year old dog that came from a horrible environment of neglect and abuse. Our pets are family, and we were very happy with the adoption process. We are very happy, that Marsha and the rest of the staff make sure who adopts the fur babies! Thank you for doing a great job!?”

“This place is great. I live in Marathon, which is an hour away so it’s a little bit of a hike, but totally worth it. The staff is always so friendly and helpful navigating my dog wants needs. They’re stocked with everything you could possibly need from food to treats to medication and walking accessories. They can be a little on the price side, but overall definitely worth it for my baby!”
