Everyone in the shop made even just finding the right gear a fun time. Steve was wonderful on the boat about getting us to the best spots for coral on our dives. He also walked us through safely getting back on the boat when the water got very rough and was patient when we needed to work with camera equipment or find better visibility on a dive site. Had such a great experience we returned again the next day!

If you’re in the area and want to get your own scuba tanks or do a private excursion, this is the place to go! Staff are extremely knowledgeable- but they’re also chill, patient, helpful not at all stuck-up. Great for anyone.Often dive shops will either lack knowledge, or they’ll be kind of rude and elitist about it. This place is great because they don’t do either

Best day of snorkeling yet. Captain Vlad took our family (4) to several locations. The conditions were very good, which always helps. He put us in a good spot early to see the Christ Statue. We followed that up with a drift snorkel over one of the shallower reefs. We saw a wide variety of fish and other animals (turtles, a reef shark, bait balls of minnows, lobster, Lionfish, nurse sharks, and a Goliath grouper.
Service on these boats is always excellent. Highly recommend them.

Captain Steve is a real gem! As a new diver on my second boat dive completing my AOW certification dives, I was impressed with his commitment to making sure we had a great diving experience. The staff at the shop were awesome too. I look forward to diving again with Quiescence!

Oh my goodness - what an outstanding group of people. My friend & I were looking to book referral dives to complete our PADI open water certification. I was pretty nervous moving from pool to the ocean and anxious about having time to equalize my ears. What I didn't want was a chaotic & crowded, cattle-car experience with a big group while making this crucial transition. Quiescence had a great reputation in the Reddit chatter since they restrict outings to groups of 6. My friend & I took it a step further and booked private dives over 2 days to complete our certification. Our instructor, Luke, was outstanding and SO patient; captains Steve, Lad, and front desk liason Doug were also great to interact with. We felt welcomed, never rushed, and always supported. I'm now stoked to keep diving! I have nothing to compare this to, but now every subsequent dive shop will be held up to this high standard! Thanks guys!!!

Stopped in on vacation after my wife got sick on a local snorkel tour so we could grab masks and fins to kick around the bay and try to get her accustomed toSnorkeling.The owner was super helpful and explained what we needed to know.Can’t thank him enough for being the most honest dive shop guy in key largo.Thank you sir.

Everyone at Quiescence is knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and kind. We did several days of diving with them and everything was great! The level of service and personal attention you get on these small boats is fantastic. The real treasure, however, was Captain Steve!! He listened to our needs and took us to great dive spots that fit what we needed. He provided great briefings that helped us to orient on the dive. Captain Steven for the win!!

Walked into the shop needing assistance with a new transmitter (purchased elsewhere) that wasn’t pairing and Air2 adapter for a Mares. Allan and Adam took the same time and consideration I would expect from a big ticket service, even though mine was a whopping $32 fix for both issues. I am not an experienced diver and so you would think that I would be happy with about any dive shop. But I have worked with enough to believe that the individual attention and commitment to detail and safety cannot be found everywhere. The fine people at Quiescence delivered the highlight of our trip. They made our trip personalized and accommodated our needs unlike any shop I’ve ever visited.They worked with us to accommodate a change in schedule due to weather, and they made the trip highly enjoyable for our small party. We never felt like another number and if you’ve ever been discouraged by diving with a large group, then you need to experience these guys. Captain Steve and Instructor Doug made us feel right at home and delivered a trip and experience of a lifetime.
