“This group is amazing! While visiting Sugar Key, we rescued a drowning Royal Tern with an injured wing. I never expected to find help on a Friday evening— but someone immediately answered the phone, took my information, gave advice on how to keep it safe and comfortable. A rescuer arrived soon after. Several days later, I had the pleasure of speaking with Tom the director who gave me an update in the bird’s health and status. It’s expected to make a full recovery!”
“I’m so glad I decided to stop and take the free tour of the Woman’s Club — it was such a wonderful experience! The guide was absolutely amazing, sharing fascinating stories about the Curry family, one of the wealthiest and most influential families in Key West, and giving great insight into the history of the home itself.
I also learned how the Woman’s Club was founded and the important role it has played in the community over the years. The members who help maintain the house are all so warm, welcoming, and passionate about preserving its history.
Overall, I’m really happy I took the time to visit. It’s a hidden gem full of local history, charm, and incredible stories — definitely worth stopping by!”

“Great experience all around thanks to our amazing instructor, Wyatt!
My husband and I were in Key West for the weekend and didn’t have time for the two-day beginner courses most places offered. I came across Key West Community Sailing, searched through their site, and found a two-hour intro session that fit our schedule perfectly. We had to book a group lesson since private wasn’t available same day, but it turned out we were the only ones there.
Wyatt was an incredible teacher—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about sailing. His enthusiasm was contagious, and we loved every minute of it. He completely inspired my husband to continue taking lessons.
Thank you, Wyatt!”
