November 2022 by Lori C.
My family and I just arrived today 11/22/2022. We ate an early dinner at the Brewery and set off to discover the town. My husband's stomach was bothering him, he wanted some PemtoBismal, so we headed for CVS. It was only 3 blocks from where we were. I said , "Let's go I have to go to the bathroom." I have thyroid disease and IBS. I had to go! When we arrived I went straight to the back of store looking for a restroom, I even accidentally set off an alarm looking for someone to let me into the bathroom. When I found the bathroom I could hear voices behind another door. I knocked and asked,"Where can I get a key for the restroom." Nancy informed me that the handle was broken and I would have to go elsewhere. I ASKED, "Where?" She told me across the street at Ron Jon. I ran out of the store with my 15 year old son in tow.....My medical conditions got the best of me. Just as we arrived at Ron Jon, my body let go. In public. I'm 51 yes old and couldn't stop shitting my pants on a public street in Key West FL with people all around. My family and I quickly went into Ron Jon who delightfully told us the restroom was upstairs. I got in the elevator, still unable to control my bowels and the emoyees there took me straight to the bathroom and shopped for new shorts for me to change into. They were sweet and helpful. But I was humiliated. I cleaned the bathroom, toilet, floor and myself. My husband paid for my clean shorts I changed into. I threw my underwear and soiled shorts into the garbage and tied up the bag. Next I had to let the staff of Ron Jon know that I had cleaned the restroom, tied the garbage bag up, but it needed to be taken out. The girl told me that she was so sorry. They have multiple people daily, asking to use their restroom because CVS's is broken. She inferred that it worked. My family and I went back over to CVS to purchase the Pepto my husband wanted. I asked the front help about the bathroom. They again said it was broken. I asked them, "Where yo you go the bathroom while you are working?" They both both shrugged their shoulders. Then an employee told me that he peed on the stairs, gesturing towards the doors. I asked to speak the the blonde manager, shrugs again. An employee told me she had left, leaving the male employee to deal with her dishonesty. Finally got a name of Nancy. Toilet is supposed to be fixed tomorrow in the morning. I'm here for a few days so I'll be checking it out. Shop anywhere else. Such a humiliated experience for me.

I am writing this comment in the HOPE that it makes it to the appropriate person/ channel and does not fall to the wayside. My visit today to the CVS pharmacy (Store# 1274, 2790 N Roosevelt Blvd, Key West) was the most HORRENDOUS customer service experience of my life. I have owned my own business, managed multimillion dollar companies and have been in some sector of retail customer service my entire life. I just thought that I had seen it all... until today. I would like to preface with the fact that I have had many dealings in the past with the usual Pharmacist, Crystal, and have received nothing but exemplary service! That said, my experience today with an employee in the Pharmacy, Karen (when I called, no one disclose a last name) was completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and uncalled for. I realize in today’s world that everyone is short staffed and that the employees who are there are more than likely overwhelmed. Knowing this I, as a customer, try to show the same courteouses that I would expect. I am not even asking that you be kind, but you DO have to be professional. Pharmacists are held to a higher standard of ethics much like police officers, teachers etc. Corporations are unaware of what actually transpires daily in their stores, but today’s transaction needs to be brought to your attention. I am prescribed a medication (which due to abuse often comes with a negative stigma). I am prescribed this medication due to my seizure disorder. When the employee behind the counter (Karen) guffaws, rolls their eyes at you, and belittles you (and believe me, it CAN be done without saying a word) then that person needs to be held accountable for their actions. I have never seen such a level of disdain or disrespect, and that is why I am writing you today. I feel as though this has to be brought to YOUR attention, so that she can, at the very least, receive some sort of further training in professionalism. Thank you.

I am currently sick with just a regular cold, and unfortunately I have a pretty rough cough but negative for COVID19. Upon going in to CVS for some DayQuil I was getting a lot of dirty looks due to my cough (coughed into my elbow of course) but the cashier Lilowtie was incredibly kind to me. She asked if I was sick and I was prepared for a severe line of questioning but she expressed genuine concern for me, asked if I wanted to see the doctor and was just so calm and nice in this crazy time. Thank you!!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever dropped off my sons prescription came back three days later to see if they had it filled , got no telephone call to let me know, could not refill it told me I had to wait two weeks and then I asked them if they could call another CVS to have it and the lady looked at me and said NO so RUDELY, so she couldn't be bothered to call the other CVS to find the script for my 6 year old son and and you call that great customer service watch out for the African-American woman that works in in the CVS pharmacy she is rude! Beware... I highly advise going to ANOTHER CVS if you don't want to be treated with a bad attitude.

Glad there here I'm a couple minutes early but I need to drop off my prescriptions . I travel so CVS Is a life saver nationwide because I can get my prescriptions filled at any of them. The pharmacist are really good at answering questions.
