Florida Keys SPCA, Inc. is an amazing shelter with a wonderful staff and a very clean, roomy, and well-lit facility. They are very kind to the animals and always have a lot of dogs and cats, as well as birds, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and bunnies. The shelter conducts well-done research for adoptive prospects and provides very detailed education on what to expect, how to handle, and what to feed adopted animals. They are also helpful for reuniting lost pets through microchip scanning. The people are friendly, though some processes like pet licensing are handwritten. Many highly recommend this wonderful shelter for adoption.
