Step mother was in town and purchased $355 worth of clothing on 12/21/23. . She attempted to return the items the next day, but the store was closed. I went to return the Adams on December 28 and noticed they sign on the counter that said seven days for returns. Since I was on the seventh day, I knew I could still return the items and exchange for other things totaling at least $355. The counterperson insisted that they were purchased on a 21st and I was there on the 28th and that was eight days not seven and would not allow me to return the items for exchange. He told me to come next Wednesday and talk to the owner which I did And the owner wasn't there. I went the following Wednesday the owner wasn't there so now I'm stuck with the bag full of $355 in clothing that I have no use for. I recommend not shopping at the store.

VERY shady business practices. Will be looking into filing a BBB report. I see others had the same experience that I did. Pricing very arbitrary. Tag on my tank top said $34.99 (which is outrageously high for a tank top in the first place). My receipt said $44.72. Also, as other reviewers said, they are on you as soon as you walk in. I have learned my lesson. It's businesses like this that give businesses in beach towns a bad name. These guys are dirty.

My family and I went in this store and the employees constantly hovered over us and never let us out of their sight. It’s like they thought we were going to steal something. I didn’t even see anything in the store I would’ve wanted if they would’ve paid me to take it. ????

Bought $20 flip flops that could've been sold for 10 cents. They were chipping even before I took them out of the bag. This place is a scam.

Pricing is very confusing and seems to depend on the clerks mood. The person who checked out my daughter was extremely aggressive and rude. There are better places to shop in KW.

My parents and I went into this store to shop while on a trip for my father’s birthday. The merchandise was that of your typical luxury beach store, but the customer service was atrocious. I work retail myself so I am not one to write a negative review because I know what working retail is like, but the service we received is worthy of 0 stars. First, when my mother and I asked one of the sales associates if they had larger sizes, like an XL or 2XL, they said, “I’m not sure what I can offer you.” While a rude comment, that isn’t why I’m writing this review. As my father was trying on a shirt, he took off his hat and set it down on the checkout counter. We spent over $50 on that shirt for his birthday. He accidentally left his hat on the counter but when we realized it, we were already at a restaurant for dinner. We stopped back at the store (less than two hours later) to retrieve it and the sales associate up front rudely told my father that since he didn’t come back for it right away, she threw it out. My mother went in because she couldn’t believe they would do such a thing, and not only was she followed by a different associate, the cashier rudely exclaimed that it was in the garbage. As I mentioned, I also work retail and have always known it to be every reputable store’s policy to hold onto customers’ lost items for AT LEAST 24 hours. It’s not like it was a piece of trash, it was a literal hat left by a customer who had spent over $50. I was planning on going in again tomorrow to spend even more money, but I definitely won’t be now. Lastly, since I was standing half-outside during this ordeal, an associate asked me if those were my parents and she said “shoe, shoe” and waved me out. My advice to those who work here: if you’re unhappy working retail, find a new job where basic customer service isn’t a required skill.

On a cruise stop in Key West, I bought a light-colored straw hat with a drawstring and SPF protection, which I had been looking for. I paid $61.50. When I returned to the ship later in the day, I looked at the hat in better light. The inner headband was black all around from skin oil. The underside of the brim was spotted with light brown spots, as though a beverage had been expelled with force from a container. The edge of the brim was also soiled black with skin oil. The store's policy is no refunds, exchange within 7 days. I don't see how a hat could be that dirty from being worn 7 days or less. I called the store and spoke with the owner. I accused him of selling used merchandise as new. He denied it. We had an angry conversation. Nothing was resolved in my favor, because the ship was leaving soon. He did not offer to meet at the dock to exchange for a new clean hat. Fortunately, at home again, I scrubbed the hat clean.

I purchased a pair of Eric Michael cork shoes for over 130$ on 12/12/21. I wanted to wear them prior to returning to VA. There was a huge chunk of cork missing on both sides of one of the shoes. We tried to exchange them, because the store doesn't give refunds, and they close early on Fridays. We called the store and spoke with the owner and he had stated that he would send us a new pair, once we contact him again from VA. We just called him and he said that he couldn't help us! I'm going to report the store to the BBB and to the Commerce of Tourism.

I bought a pair of Havaiana flip flops here. As soon as I got outside in the light of day I could see both flip flops were stained and dirty looking. I immediately went back in to return them and the old man (probably owner) pointed to the sign that read "no refunds ..." He said he'd give me a credit when there was absolutely nothing else in that store I'd want. I was stunned that he wouldn't take the flip flops back, and pointed out how they were discolored. He offered to wash them for me! You decide if this is the type of place you want to deal with. It's a wonder they're still afloat!

The lady there is horrible and she treated me and my family like we were stealing the whole time. Breathing down my neck the entire time. Wouldn’t suggest going.

I wouldn’t recommend shopping here. The owner arbitrarily changes prices as he sees fit. I found a sweatshirt that I wanted to buy for $34.99. When the owners wife rung me up she told me the total was $48. I told her the tag says $34.99. She told me that all of their sweatshirts are $45.00. I told her the entire rack of the same sweatshirt are labeled 34.99. When the owner came over he yelled in my face and refused to honor the price. He was aggressive and rude. Buyer beware.
