The rooms were spacious and had a nice resort atmosphere.
The minus was that there were a lot of birds at breakfast.
The location has a nice view of the ocean, but I was disappointed that I couldn't walk to the beach.
Overall I'm satisfied!

Enjoy the days we were there. At reception they were very attentive and friendly.

The hotel complex is not located directly in front of water front, and is separated by Roosevelt Blvd. However, the ocean view room has a good view of the Strait of Florida.
The airport is very close to the hotel and be ready to see planes taking off from the airport.
Room finishes need some update as there was some water stains on a wicker-finished cabinet drawer. Two chairs and a table is provided at the balcony. However, it would be nice to be provided with two padded chairs, instead of one inside the room.
Walkability: Walking distance two a few restaurants ( Benihana and La Trattoria Oceanside)
Food and drinks: Mixed cocktails are in included as part of the resort fee; two drinks per day, per room.
Food and drinks can also be ordered from poolside hut.

The Hampton Inn exceeded our expectations in every way. Our 2-Queen Bed room offered plenty of space and was immaculately maintained, including a well-sized and clean bathroom. The views were spectacular, with the room overlooking both the swimming pool and the ocean beyond.
The staff went above and beyond with their service, demonstrating genuine hospitality throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed dining at the Cheekie Hut, which served excellent food. The property also offers convenient parking with numerous spaces available.
This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone planning a trip to the Keys. Just one minor note - if you're booking a 2-Queen room, be aware that one bed is positioned directly beside the AC unit, which can make that side of the room quite chilly.

Very unfriendly… yes they have modern rooms either spacious balconies but for $500 per night and a resort fee of $40, thru gave us a room in the oldest building with a dumpster at the entrance and a landfill with a giant black garbage bag in the back!
Called front desk to change room … no use. Asked to create a case number … they refused. Terrible! Perhaps they don’t want our business

Great view and location in key west with very convenient shuttle. Breakfast is a nice addition and the pool area was fantastic. Although we did not have wifi for our entire stay, Sam from management made sure to make the situation right and took care of us.

Nice ocean view resort, large clean room. Van transportation to and from downtown. Onsite tiki bar with food and drinks 🍸, nice setting.
Only complaint would be the strong cleaning smell upon arrival.
Rooms: Large space, clean and a small balcony, nice ocean view
Food and drinks: Tiki bar has lots of seating, cold drinks and good bar food.

We spent two nights here this past few days at Key West. The room we were in was very difficult to breathe and sleep in. It smelled musty and moldy, and the mattress was very firm and squeaky. When we brought up the mold issue on day one, we were told that there were no other rooms available to switch us too. However online it did show several rooms available. No one ever followed up the day after.
Additionally we were told we would be in the quiet hotel rooms but the location was just as noisy as the poolside.
Our room also didnt have a door latch which made us feel very unsafe. Additionally people were smoking by the bar and pool which made it difficult to utilize the resort amenities, due to our allergies.
Aside from this Maui and Maryna were excellent and the location was close to everything. But we just wish our concerns were addressed more appropriately.

I love this hotel. The rooms were modern with spacious balconies and water views. This hotel had everything we were looking for, a small hotel with a resort feel. The room includes free breakfast. Each guest also gets a free drinks at the tiki bar daily. Their concierge was amazing. You can rent bikes and golf carts right on property. This Hampton Inn also has a free shuttle that takes you to the center of town that runs every 30 minutes. There's also a tour bus that picks up directly from this Hilton property. We didn't want to leave. ❤️

1 Night in December 2024. Nice facility and very nice room
Location is far from downtown where all the action in Key West is although the facility is on the Hop On and Off Tour. Facility has several buildings so can be tricky to find room. Room can be a distance from lobby and breakfast. Nice pool and accompanying bar.

Vacationer Beware !!!!
This hotel depends on room choice, borders on 2 or 3 stars.
Be aware that the airport is literally over the "fence" with the constant sound of Jets taking off. (similar to Maho beach St. Martin)
Enjoy : )

This property is really a gem, overall.
The room: We had 2 rooms. Room 135 has a private patio and stunning views of lush tropical gardens, the pool, and partial ocean views. It does not have a working room phone or working internet currently, leaving guests without a t.v. guide and without the fancy greeting on the t.v. screen that really makes an impression (Room 137 said “Welcome Tiffany” on the screen and it was a lovely touch that would’ve made a nice first impression). The door is oddly heavy ( we are from FL; this is not your typical storm door). Do NOT rent this room if you can’t push open a door that’s the equivalent of lifting 50 pounds. Room 137 did not have this issue. The décor is modern art-deco meets California coastal maybe; it’s different but not terribly distracting. There is a small desk for working if you’re working remotely.
The bathroom is very large with a built-in closet (this is where you’ll find the ice bucket- kind of weird but there is no living room or dining space so…)
There is a small soaking tub and shower combo with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion provided. The beds are firm but comfortable enough to not wake up in pain.
Spike, the iguana, slept on our patio railing and we had ibises visit. There is a sweet hen running around as well. The wildlife is wonderful but if you don’t like birds and large iguanas begging for your breakfast in the morning, stay away from the outdoor dining area. Remember, if you’re an entitled tourist, this is their year-round home. You’re in their space so show some respect.
There is a small fitness center.
The pool area is gorgeous for a low to mid-grade hotel. You can’t ask for more. Lush gardens, ocean views, and wildlife. There is a poolside bar and restaurant with a decent but small menu. Our first night, we almost had an E.R. run because they gave me jalapenos chopped up finely when I asked for none and I accidentally ate them. They compensated me for the trouble. You will be enjoying 2 free alcoholic beverages from the tiki bar per room (remember, the service is not free!). The pool is not currently heated and is entirely too cold to swim in at the moment so if you’re banking on pool days with the kids or significant other before April, find a different resort. This is not the one. There is no hot tub here to heat you up after getting out of the 68 degree pool.
The property is very well-maintained, despite having minimal damage from recent storms, and is the nicest Hampton Inn I’ve ever been to.
You can walk to 1-2 restaurants but we did not. There isn’t much in walking distance but a gorgeous sidewalk along the ocean. Look in and admire the fish, watch the ships pass, or walk across the road and check out the stunning sunrise and sunset views (you get both this time of year in November).
Free shuttle included in resort fees (again, tips are not included and the drivers are very accommodating so make sure to take care of them).
Pros
Location outside of the chaos
Free transportation into downtown KW
Free breakfast
Free drinks and waters (2 of each per each room)
Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets
Wildlife (this may be a con for you)
Friendly and accommodating front desk staff
Cons
No technology worked in our room (phone, t.v wifi)
Pool too cold to use
No direct ocean front access (a small beach nearby that is a 2-3 minute drive or a bike ride away)
Heaviness of our door- it was really limiting
Deceptive and unhelpful breakfast staff (too lazy to restock the cream cheese. She looked at me with a sneaky smile and said they were out and then an hour later we saw they were restocked). I’d give her the benefit of the doubt but I could tell by her expression and response she knew she was lying). Get a new job if you don’t want to help guests.
Overall, I recommend this property and we will return if in KW again.

Your stay WILL be more than they advertise. Cool place, but budget $200 extra for resort fees they'll charge on your last day.
