Tho worst experience ever!!!!and employees unprofessional!!!i was waiting more then 1 hour before she finished rental issue…she said computer system is slow!!!!!my rentals pays insurance company..she said I pay only 50$ for security which is ok!!But on the ticket it was charged 94$ and when i checked bank account charge is 190$…What the hell is that!!!!!She did itWithout my permission…..very disappointed!!!!!!

Morisa at the desk at the Key West Airport is the example of how one should great the public. There were lots of people coming in and she did an incredible job. I noticed it with the customers before me. She worked efficiently, friendly and explained all very well. If she is not in Upper management she she be. Thanks Morisa for the excellent customer service.

The worst experience here. We reserved our car days in advanced. Checked in before we arrived. Waited over an hour at the airport for our vehicle. Hertz reps were incredibly rude and unhelpful.

Bad service, I reserved my car 3 months in advance and they didn’t have the car when I arrived. In retrospect, I should have simply used Uber and not rented a car. Uber is prompt and reliable in key west.

I don’t know why is so hard to reach a person !!! I arrived n Keywest an hour early yesterday 1/21/24 , had to wait in line for car. No big deal at allPeople were so so rude to this associate i was getting pissed off !!! She remained calm as line grew ( flights landing ) she was professional and helpful when customers were NOT!! I will be sure to go to desk when i return my car and let them know she is a valued employee!!! This woman is an asset to your company working at Keywest tiny airport and should not be treated so rudely by inpatient and unreasonable people

Cars on site. Staff very friendly. As a member I am not used to waiting g at counter but went very fast. Return process is strange as you return keys then have to walk across to check in. Wish there was key drop box where you return cars.

Most unprofessional employees that I have ever encountered. Totally unresponsive and actually they BOTH acted like they just did not care at all about anything or anyone. Having been in the aviation business for over 20 years and a partner with Hertz in many locations there are no words for how this location treats paying customers. Last but not least upon returning the car and being assured I would be billed properly and receive an email I was overcharged triple my rate and they have yet to correct. I will not utilize this location again until management makes needed changes. I would not rate even one star for this location!

One person at desk. 20 people in line lady acted annoyed we were bothering her and we had reservation. Terrible service, terrible experience. Took over an hour to get vehicle and it wasn’t what we reserved.

It was a disappointing experience with the lady at the rental desk. We called and spoke with them about an earlier pick up time. We received an email confirmation however when we arrived were told the home office has no way of knowing when the local pick up center is ready. I shared that I requested to speak with the local place and she told me they do not answer the phone.

I was always one to go right to Hertz anytime I had to rent a vehicle. Was also a member. After the staff that is in this airport treated me, along with others the way they did I canceled and went with Enterprise. They didn't have the vehicle i rented and gave me 3 different excuses. (I booked and paid many months in advance) I booked directly through them so the 3rd party booking isn't an excuse either. There were 3 others that had issues comparable while I was in the airport. I'm no longer loyal to Hertz. Became an Enterprise member though. Gave the Christmas cheer tip to Enterprise as well. I would strongly suggest you book through someone else if you don't want to waste your time.I should add that I did try to look past them not having what I was "guaranteed." I got to the vehicle and it was absolutely disgusting. Appeared to have vomit on 2 doors, dirty inside and dandruff looking flakes on the driver's side seat. They don't clean the vehicles. I decided I wasn't going to deal with their stuff and returned the car to get my money back. Which was also a nightmare with staff that does everything in their power to not work. I've never seen employees so lazy and rude.

This is located in a very small airport so the actual wait wasn't long. Just do your best to do all the reservations online so you can avoid doing more in person. Respond to emails before hand, dealing with the desk is harder if you're not filling all the things out online. I'd suggest paying for the gas surcharge especially if you're flying ? just easier but can be more expensive. Way easier to drive yourselves there without stressing about getting gas in the vehicle on the way to the airport, I've learned the lesson so many times over.

I dropped off a rental car here that I picked up in Miami. The drop-off return process was unbelievably simple and quick, I basically just gave the keys to the woman at the desk inside the terminal and she was like "okay". The only thing I would have liked is an employee in the parking lot directing you where to park - other rental companies had that but Hertz just had signs, so it's up to you to figure out where you're supposed to park.

Showed up 3 hours early for my reservation and the clerk obliged me. I got tot he car within 30 minutes. Sadly the battery was dead so I walked back into the terminal and she handed another set of keys within 5 minutes. All said, i was there less than an hour. I appreciate the customer service when the battery was dead.

I've been trying numerous times to speak to someone at Hertz Key West because I was told to do so .... the first time I never got a real person. This time I finally did after SO many picking of options... but she took my reservation number and the line is quiet - nothing - just gone.
