Moved out November and it’s already February and still haven’t received my security deposit back. I’ve called numerous times and every time I’ve been told they need to call accounting and see what’s going on. They supposedly “reissued” a check about 2 maybe 3 times and still no check has arrived in the mail. I did receive the itemized bill about 3 wks after moving out, so they’ll gladly take your money but take forever to return your money. Also they stopped taking my calls so I had to have my mom call the office and they said it’s cause they were busy, mind you I called through out the whole day. Now being informed that it’s going to take another 30-35 days for another reissued check to arrive. If this was me paying late rent they would’ve kicked me out and have made me pay a lot in fees. Do not rent here, unless you’re ok with not receiving your money back 3+ months after moving out.

This Apartments sucks!!!!they have a the dirtiest Laundry room first of all and washers even worse! For example north side building has a 7 washers and only 3 works !!! there is a big line of people.they charge us for per washing 3$ and for dry machine 3$ as well! it’s ridiculous! Also, there is building East one elevator which is out of order almost 2 years! steps are dirty, there are lots of cockroaches because of the huge trash bunker in the building. very slow service, and sometimes no service at all. and price? it’s raising up every year! for what? We don’t get it!I hope someone from the Head office read this review and they will try to do something about. we need more pleasant people at the office, we need service at least! we need to feel that someone is taking care of our appointments and all are around us. thats why we pay for it!

My parents were applying for an apartment and it so happens that the application fee was $381. We really didn't even have that money. When they applied, the email and phone number was to my father. My mom didn't put her phone number on the application, yet they "claimed" to have called her. From where?? Then they had the audacity to change our information and not contact us when the said we'd get an email or phone number and kept our $381. btw The email was gmail we use Hotmail and Yahoo sooo.... who's information was on our application. don't apply here unless you want your money taken.

Horrible place from top to bottom. Looked into renting here. I’ve got good credit and make good $. The staff members, if they’re in the office when they’re supposed to be, are the sorriest, and laziest bunch that Key West has to offer. This place will lure you in with what seems to be a decent monthly rate. Once you pay a non refundable $300+ deposit, they hit you with the most excessive deposit amount you can imagine. At that point, you either have to pay it, so they can gouge you when you move out, or just eat the deposit and move on. Do yourself a favor. Read the other reviews, don’t fall for the scam, and find another place. Let these scumbags prey on someone else. I promise you’ll be better off.

Sarah, leasing consultant, was very understanding and helpful in our move. Moving can be stressful, but she helped us make the transition an easy one!

RUN FROM THIS DUMP!! IF THEY HAD A NEGATIVE STAR ON THE GRADING SCALE, HERE WOULD BE A GREAT START! Me and my husband applied, which was an odd process, by then we should have known that they are crooks!!!! They will lie about receiving your information and cheat you out of your hard earned money without notification !!! Their contract is illegitimate, they do not follow their own rules and bend them to please their own pockets. They lied about the availability we saw online and spoke to a representative about. Ocean walk staff took our deposit and refused to give it back after no one could give me the status of my application.....all of a sudden. Their exact words were, " THEY DONT USUALLY GIVE BACK DEPOSITS, WHETHER APPROVED OR NOT "....how can anyone move? Are we expected to just throw away money to these apartment staff at theri discretion with no where to live? The horrible customer service will make you sick!!! This company does not represent humanity or key west. I am hoping the BBB will do its job. They need to see how it feels to find a place to live and have your money stolen from crooks right before the holidays! How will key west grow with people on the island like this? I work in hospitals there in key west and all over the USA, god forbid that I would ever treat any person/or patient this way!!??!!

Overpriced. Dirty. Office never answers. Garbage everywhere. For the hoops you have to go through to rent and the price charged, this place seriously needs to up its care. Oh, dog p*** everywhere, owners are pathetic in cleaning up after their pets.

Elevators are broken frequently. Good luck if you live on a top floor. It took approximately one month to restore elevator service. Now they are out again. Makes a challenge for grocery shopping. I have a crumbling concrete parking bumper which I’ve asked to be replaced for two years now. Some neighbors are not always courteous regarding noise levels. Recently I was notified that my rent is being increased by $440 per month. ?

I was thinking of moving in I paid 150.00 for my wife and I to apply. They didn't ever to this day tell me what the rent was going to be on July 1, 2022, that's when I advised them I would be moving in. They are now trying to charge a friend 2100.00 for Julys rent because he didn't give a 60 day notice. He did give a sixty day notice but dosen't have a computer. He advised Dillon he would be moving, verbally. Key West has a housing shortage they will rent the apartment but still want to squeeze my retired friend. Terrible office staff Dillon and the Manager they tell you one thing and do another. They were never in the office when we tried to talk to them about the lease. The hallways look like slums unpainted and dirty. Rents way out of line.

If you can avoid it, DON’T RENT HERE! It’s a scam. You can be a great tenant, be clean, make no noise, leave the apartment spotless, and they will hit you with any fee that they can. As part of my lease, I was required to give 60 days notice of cancellation if I wasn’t going to live there moving forward. Since I had a great job and loved it, I had every intention of staying! To my surprise, I received a notice from the Property Manager at Ocean walk that my rent would be increasing from $2,000 to $3,200. Keep in mind, I’m required to give 60 days notice if anything will be changing, so the fact that I received this document within the 60days is absurd - they should give residents AT LEAST 90 days to consider their options. This left me scrambling to find a better paying job or a roommate to help balance the costs of the ridiculous rent increase, this is very tough in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment. Unable to find a roommate or higher salary, I had to notify Ocean Walk that I will be need to move out since I can’t afford their new, greedy terms. This awful business practice carried out by Ocean Walk has been brought to their attention, and they are like talking to a brick wall. They act like they listen - and then its crickets….. It’s currently 10AM on a Wednesday and they are “closed” - how convenient They are trying to steal $2,000 from me at this very moment as a “cancellation fee”. Since i am fighting it, they are now going after my credit as well. Stay away from these people if at all possible. It might seem nice at first, but I assure you if they can squeeze your hard eared money out of you in anyway, they will do it.

we have lived here for almost 8 years, we have gone through several property managers and Stefanie has been the best one. She makes that property shine. The pool is amazing and the staff are always kind.
