“I could not be more grateful for Shawn and Jennifer. I have a disabled Siberian husky who definitely experiences the husky picky eater syndrome. On top of that she has numerous allergies and finding appropriate food for her has been incredibly difficult. In contrast to places like pet supermarket, where I found myself with limited choices due to the ingredients, American dog was like a candy store for my fluffy child. There are so many food options that fit with Beans unusual diet, and even when I felt spoiled for choice, Shawn and Jennifer were full of knowledge on every single product, making the decision easier to make. I chose the food with confidence instead of confusion. Thank you so much for everything you guys do.”

“This place is sooo refreshing! I stopped in yesterday to get a gift for a Yorkie friend and Evelyn was so engaging and anxious to help find the perfect thing. I shared all of the limitations with diet, etc. and she was more than happy to assist. There is a plethora of items selections and it is a very welcoming shop. I will definitely be returning as I make more animal friends here in Key West as a new resident! Keep up the great work!!! Actually I'd rate it a 10 but that was not an option. Considering younger people these days, Evelyn was such a change of pace. She has all of the attributes and values that kids are lacking. Congratulations to her parents for a job well done!!!”

“we were on vacation in key west and stopped in to visit this store. The owner had a dog tuffy toy on display wearing one of the dog shirts she carries. I asked if the dog was for sale because he looked like our dog. She stated he wasn't it was only on display for the clothing. She then said let me see how much he was and I will call you with a price. The dog is no longer available but she would sell him to us and she gave us more than a fair price. we went back and bought a few more items. She went above and beyond for us and you can tell. she really care about animals. I highly recommend The Blue Cat!”

“Great place to check out if (like me) you didn't have the chance to buy a swimsuit or cover-up before heading down to Key West. They had a nice selection for women, men and kids, in a range of prices. They also have some cute dog clothes, accessories and supplies. Friendly service, too. I picked out a suit for my hubby, but turned out he didn't like it; they let me return it the next day, no hassle. Apparently, the store just opened a month or so, and is in the Overseas Market, where the Ross and Winn-Dixie are. Check it out!”
“We love our wagadoodle collars! We stopped by their shop while in Key West and they are now our go to for our pups! If we can’t make the drive down we order them by mail. They are delivered prompt and exactly as ordered. The collars are well made and they have a HUGE selection. The service has ALWAYS been superb. We love the fact that we can get collars that are special to us (we usually put our boys in blue and girls in pink). If you want to get away from the “store bought” options you should definitely give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.”
