Southernmost Beach Resort is a large resort on the quieter side of Key West, offering a blissful tropical island feel. It is very well located, though far from Mallory Square and the opposite end of Duval Street, providing a nice private beach with a pool and bar beachside. The point of view is magnificent, with amazing full ocean views available, especially from ocean front rooms. The resort has many amenities, including wonderful pools like the relaxing tranquility pool. The private beach, beachside breakfast, and on-site restaurant serve excellent tasty drinks and great, clean fresh delicious foods. The staff is friendly, helpful, and fantastic, with great bartenders and a concierge service that assists with planning excursions. The rooms are described as basic, decent, and average, having what you need, with some noting the equipment is average. The location offers easy walkability to areas like Higgs beach, and it is easy to park a car with an extra charge. It is a wonderful place for a short stay, a perfect anniversary trip, or a vow renewal, with picturesque properties on-site. While generally highly recommended, a note was made about dogs being allowed at the bar area.
From the time we arrived, everything was top notch. We stayed in the La Mer Dewey House Island View room. Just steps from the beach. Very clean room, location is perfect for people who need a little beach time when staying in Key West. Service, food & drinks were all great. we will be back for our next visit.

Overall a great place to enjoy sun and beach, yet at a premium price. As other reviews have stated there are some updates needed to amenities such as loud AC and water pressure being non-existent.

Rooms were comfortable and kept clean. Only complaint was many channels didn't come in on our television. Missed some football games we wanted to watch. Overall experience was great and would recommend.
