After a few days in Miami we drove to Key West for the main part of our honeymoon. I had emailed ahead to let them know it was our honeymoon but they never responded, which was ok. A shame, but ok. We arrived, the car was automatically taken from us and parked, it all seemed great. The room was really lovely but the toilet seat was completely hanging off. Took five phone calls and two days to get fixed. We opted to have our room serviced each day but they made a mistake and although asking what we preferred on check-in, this wasn't actioned so each day we never knew if it would be done or not and had to chase. I think, being a honeymoon, they could of just slightly made extra sure our stay was seamless. On checkout we were handed a bill that showed a charge of $250 dollars for automatic valet parking. This was never explained to me. I questioned it merely so I could understand it and the person we spoke to, although being the assistant director (Anisa Hosein) of the hotel, was so extremely patronising and rude I couldn't help but wonder if it was because we were a gay couple. There was no need for us to be spoken to like that, especially as we were so polite. I was stunned at her coldness and lack of personable skills compared to the rest of the staff. She said 'well I am not sure where you're from but that's what is done here in Florida'. We are from London so we would not know how it works. On the website it says $40 Valet Parking but does not state that it is per day. Also, when we arrived at our next stop in Key Largo, they explained it wasn't, in fact, a done thing in Florida and they gave you the option of valet or self-parking and explained this very clearly. They also included parking in their resort fees. (Baker's Cay - wonderful!). I have to say, the pool staff are exceptional. Really go above and beyond. The jet ski tour which goes from the hotel is also well worth it.

The facility is well maintained, clean and relaxing. The entire staff is professional, courteous and pleasant. The Four Marlins Restaurant was great breakfast, lunch and dinner. The was well maintained.

This is a great resort feeling hotel for a relaxing getaway. The beach was lovely, the "cabana boys" were just right on top of noticing you were looking for a chair and brought towels and setup umbrellas swiftly. Stephanie and Lilly the two pool/beach hostesses were very quick with drinks and worked their tails off, always with a smile. The bartender Brian was great, always smiling and efficient. The food at Four Marlins was very good, fries and flank steak were great for dinner. We asked for early checkin but that wasn't the case, a bit after check in time (we had been up since 3am and just wanted to settle into our room) I had to go to the desk. First room overlooked the parking garage a bit and I called to say this is not what we wanted for our honeymoon. Ashley promptly moved us to a room overlooking the resort, ah, it was paradise. We took an Uber everywhere and man those guys came in a few minutes. We ate across the island at Blue Heaven and Viva Saloon which were excellent. It was a great place to stay and we will never forget our honeymoon!

Our first trip to Key West we stayed at The Reach. Everything was fantastic. The room was clean and the view was stunning. The food at the 4 Marlins was delicious and well prepared. We highly recommend the Tide to Table dining experience, you won’t be disappointed. The staff was energetic, friendly, and responsive. The private beach was clean and well maintained. The location is close to Duvall Street so everything is with in walking distance or a short ride share.

The location is perfect, with a private beach and an attentive staff that was both welcoming and friendly. The bar staff went out of their way to have the chef make a special dish. Much appreciated. Awesome experience. Will definitely be making a return trip.

Do not expect to come here and check in early, or on time for that matter. They will give you a room when they get ready to. Horrible service for the money you pay. All we keep hearing is we’re short staffed. We flew around the world to get here.

Absolutely LOVED this resort. Clean, easy to get around, they text you every day if you need anything. Check in was easy, gave us a beautiful room, best stay I have had in a long time. Restaurant was also a big hit, enjoyed the menu and service ( Thanks Ashley and Mike) Cant wait to book another stay.

I want to thank Kolbarys Martinez, Security at The Reach, for safeguarding my phone for me that I lost in March 2023. He made sure that my phone was kept safely for me until I could pick it up in October 2023. Thanks for going above and beyond! You are a great employee and wonderful human!

We had three nights at The Reach as part of our recent USA holiday and were very impressed! The staff were all super helpful and friendly (special shout out to Willow on reception!) and we received a room upgrade without even asking! The hotel is in a great location - easy walking distance of Duval Street and the main Key West attractions, but also in a quiet spot with very rare private beach access. Valet car parking is available, which is a must given how busy Key West is. The room was spacious, spotless and had a lovely sea view. Nice bar and restaurant area too (we only had drinks, which were excellent). Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Bad room, the indication was 5 stars however, I don't even give 3. Bad cleaning, they didn't clean our room every day. We found a cockroach in the bathroom, there wasn't even water in the mini bar. Disappointed, and the daily rate is very high. Anyway, I don't recommend it. High and horrible cost benefit.

This is newly renovated hotel right on the South Beach of Key West. Very nice pool and grounds. Very "Key West" looking property.... excellent staff. The Bar is an in-door outdoor Bar and very nice looking...there is live entertainment a couple times a week.

The beach is minuscule, the rooms are old and in need of renovation. The food in The restaurant was excellent. Hotel staff was not fours stars level. Not worth the price overall. If I went back to key west I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again

I just got home from a perfect vacation in Key West!!! As any single (or not single) mother can tell you, alone time is a very precious commodity and a necessity to recharge our minds and souls from time to time. I was fortunate enough to be able to get away for 4 nights of relaxing bliss this past week. Upon arrival at the Reach, I was not only welcomed to the Conch Republic by a giant chicken mural, but also by Annie at the front desk. She was very sweet and informed me that, because I’m a Hilton Diamond member, I was given a free room upgrade and a daily food/drink credit of $18 (woohoo—I love perks of any shape and size)! My room was a resort view King—pretty and perfect. The grounds of the resort are lovely and clean. Due to the fact that it’s off-season, the pool, beach and restaurant were never crowded. There were pleasant folks from all over the globe (and their doggies) to mingle with, but I also kind of felt like I had the entire resort to myself at times. The bartenders and pool/beach attendants and servers were all very kind and attentive (especially Stephanie). Check out was super easy—as my flight didn’t leave until later in the afternoon, they kept my luggage for me and allowed me to hang out at the pool/beach for a couple more hours. Their fitness center restroom has a shower to freshen up before departure, which I thought was a great amenity. I’ve been to KW a couple times prior to this vacation, but this was my first time traveling solo. I never felt unsafe or awkward or left out….at this resort or anywhere else on the island. I would highly recommend the Reach to everyone and hope to return again soon!

This hotel is in a great location, rooms are nice and the property gives you the island life to unwind. Having said that the reason why we could not give it 5 stars is because of the experience over the 2 night stay. 1) when you arrive the valet is the first person you encounter and he seemed tired, over worked and less than enthusiastic of our arrival. 2)This is suppose to be a resort and not a hotel. There is a lack luster of planned activities onsite. If you have little ones you are out of luck, there are no activities for them. 3)You don’t feel very welcome when you return to the hotel. No one greets you when you go through the front desk. There could be an army of employees there and you don’t here a peep from anyone. When guests walk through that front door, someone should always greet them. 4) Front area is not very helpful. We were in the process of getting our luggage through the glass doors from the elevators. To put it politely we struggled due to the large number of items we had and with a small child. I counted on checkout Morning, there were at least 6 employees upfront, at least 3 saw my wife struggling, but no one came to help open the door or offer assistance. Did I mention that there was only one guest they were helping at the time? Give credit when credit is due. We would like to shoutout to Tim in dining. Management should have him train all the other employees on how a guest should be treated.

This was not what we expected for the price. Restaurant was so so. Beach was small but nice when the sea weed was cleaned up. Pool was small but full most of the time. Rooms were clean and cool. Bathroom was extremely small. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is a family resort so keep that in mind.
