I love this place. I come the or for times a week just for the sunset. Fort Zachary is slightly better for the sunset but this place is free. In addition there is a market here once a week. The coast guard ship museum and the Florida keys eco museum are both an easy walk. Restrooms and a water playground is also available. A wonderful place to bike too and take your dog. Great for picnics or just hanging out. Please do yourself a favor and stop by for at least one sunset on your visit.

The Farmer's Market is open for business every Thursday from 2pm-7pm. Plenty of parking on site, which is a luxury in Key West. Open atmosphere and wheelchair accessible with wide paths. Majority of the vendors I have spoken to, are from the mainland and not Key West locals. Yet, still a nice experience if you're looking for fresh Florida produce.

Lots of vendors and a FANTASTIC location to watch the sunset. There are lanes and areas for bikes and runners. Playground is covered and has a splash pad, too!

This used to be a really good market, however the move to Truman from Bayview has brought the market down. It is insanely hot with afternoon hours. Bayview is big enough to accommodate the market even in season in a more comfortable, greener environment. It feels like a popular event is being ruined to try to bolster Truman.

A big thank you to you Mr Mark Toray on your good skill of mining and trading in my account. Needs to be moved out of farmers market category. 2 stands had fruit/veggies. I saw better fruit variety at Publix. If you want Cbd oil, clothing, cheese or prepared foods, you will be happy here.
