I have been very disappointed in a lot of the Dollar General stores that I have been into in Putnam County they don't have enough help there's stuff all over the floor there's nothing on the shelves the bathrooms have been dirty I'm just very disappointed and I think it's because of the company's fault for not having enough workers in the store

i’ve noticed Dollar General has gotten so much better since the nice older lady named Gail has started working there. The lines seem to flow very well. I’m very happy about that. Good hire!!!

I have seen nothing but the best of everything in this store, Except for all dogs are allowed and this can be bad because of registered service Dogs that must accompany their owner for medical reasons,I have an actual registered service dog,I had to pay out the butt for training to have it for my medical, to me this sucks when you can just walk into a store with an unregistered dog.there is no signs on the front door stating registered service dogs only as their should be,

I will do all my shopping at this Dollar General. There is actually a different location closer to my home, with a total of 5 Dollar General's within a 10-mile radius of my home. I will continue going to store #1401because I have always felt welcomed, plus the employees will help with anything you need without question or hesitation. Thankfully the few bad apples that worked there was only there for a short time. Everyone I have dealt with in the last 5 months from day or night shifts have been amazing. I think something the General manger and Store manager should be proud of is how professional the Key Holders can stay even when spoken to like trash all the while having grown men and woman scream in their face. The straight disrespect they get treated with on a regular basis is disgusting. I've seen other reviews speak on not being charged the correct price and being refused to make it right by the employee. They must have the wrong store or something. I have witnessed many times the price be honored that was on the shelf. most the time it's only a difference of 0.20 or so. (Yes, it adds up I know) but I have never seen them not honor the price and change it. The only time I've seen them not change a price is when it was something you picked up that was out of place so the tag on the shelf don't match your item. Unfortunately, people pick stuff up and put it down in other spots. They can't give you a sale that doesn't exist because people are lazy. to say they have a "SCAM" going on is just plain stupid. It's your responsibility to read the tags on the shelf, not just glance at the price. That's the only reason I've known them to say no to price changes. If it's the correct item to the tag they have ALWAYS honored the lower price.

Love going here in the evenings when Aaron and Damian are working always friendly always helpful but going during the day is a whole different experience the girls follow you around the store like you are stealing and doesn't seem to be a whole lot of nothing getting done.

This location has gone straight downhill. The parking lot looks like local landfill . The store is dirty and nasty. Dollar general coorperate should be ashamed that they let these store get so far below standard!!!!!!!

Terrible experience dealing with the horrible attitude of the assistant manager”?” Tiffany“?” and her coworker while trying to make a simple return. They definitely have P poor customer service skills and attitudes at this location! I would really like to see Tiffany replaced ASAP!

SHOPPERS BEWARE!!! Every time I visit this store, and I do mean EVERY time. I find something I like, double check the price on the sign with the display then at checkout it rings up way more than advertised and the store associates refuse to honor the advertised sale price. It infuriates me because I know it's deliberate false advertising to get you to buy it hoping you want catch the scam. Happens Everytime, without fail. On my next visit, if there is one, I will record my experience and post in an effort to inform unsuspecting shoppers.
