Our reservation was cancelled and no one called to let us know. I've never had a situation where the rental car center just canceled our reservation because we didn't arrive at our reservation time. The man was rude. He brushed us off like nothing. Didn't let us know. Didn't leave a message. Didn't call. Nothing. We were stranded and had to scramble for a rental car elsewhere.

I rented a 12 ft truck for one day. Did the reservation On line and put in my credit card to ‘save time at checkout’ . I was informed it doesn’t save any time. He told me I needed to know the limits of my insurance coverage on a commercial vehicle rental. Told me I needed to pay for insurance $70 for one day. My insurance policy does cover commercial truck rentals but since he was requiring the policy limitations at the time of rental I paid it. Don’t let him intimidate you. He’s very rude. And if wasn’t going to speed up check out I wouldn’t have put in my credit card. Gave me a different truck than what was on the paperwork so drop off location had a problem but they didn’t make it my problem.

The Budget Truck rental at Old Town is the worst I've been to. He guy has no customer service skills. I did the quick check out on line because it said it would be quicker at check out. I got there and after waiting my turn he stars asking all the questions I answered online. I said I already provided this info for the quick check out process. He said you still have to provide it to me. It's not any quicker. He gave me all the paper work he printed to sign and I refused their insurance because I knew my own policy covered it. He looked over the firms and said if I knew for sure my insurance civered it. I said yes. He said do you have the limits on your policy? That he would need that. I did NOT have my insurance policy with me. He crossed all my no!s out and marked the box for yes I wanted the insurance. And added $83 to the one day rental if $90. I was furious but I needed to get on the road. He gave us the wrong vehicle but we didn't find out til we dropped it at our destination return office. This location is horrible. The last time they were just rude this time they were incompetent, rude and intimidating. Stay away. Drive a little further for competent location.

“DO NOT RENT” “DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION”Warning you guys this is the worse place to rent from. Dirty truck, no maintenance horrible experience. The lady at the counter is useless rude. Road side assistance is d*** as well useless. Rude people take your money but I won’t get a hotel paid for a refund on what I’ve had to go through which is the negligence of this location. If your traveling or on vacation I recommend you pay a little more for great service because this location is not it. I warned you. This location needs to be closed or Budget needs to see why their cars, trucks are being rented at this located In poor condition. This is inexcusable this is people’s lives in these cars and my life could have been at risk with a broke down truck on the road this was not a regular oh things happen this was a maintenance issue that caused a check engine that broke down the truck. I don’t recommend this location at all Budget get in it with this location before a life is loss at the negligence of these people.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!!!!!!! We rent a Cargo van on Tuesday, March 23 at 1pm. We saw that the truck had a crash in the back door and above, also a broken mirror. The "manager" (I put it like that in quotes because he is a guy who has no experience in customer service, super rude and does not know how to do his job well) who went out to do an inspection supposedly, was superficial because they knew that the truck was crashed, so we did not notice a hit in the upper part and that of course the "manager" did not put in the report either. Today, Thursday, March 25, we delivered the truck in Boca Raton and the man who receives it notices the crash from the upper part and tells us that we have to pay for it. I contact this office and Mrs. MARY tells us that if it was not in the report we should pay it !!! After a while the "manager" talking with us, after making the claim, hung up the phone on us. The guy at BUDGET Boca Ratón admitted that many times in the inspection when the cars are rented not everything is check correctly. I WANT TO MAKE IT CLEAR THAT WE NEVER HAD ANY ACCIDENT WITH THE VAN, AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO ASSUME ERRORS FROM BUDGET OR HIS WORKERS.Budget customer service is horrible and they shouldn't rent cars that are not in perfect condition to drive.<This is a specific note for Mrs. MARY who is the receptionist at this budget location, if you are not qualified to handle situations with customers, and if your answer is to hang up the phone on customers you should look for another job.>

This place is bad they want to check you credit to rent a car from them. Plus it's a 250 deposit plus the rental to rent from them. Then if you cancel the reservation they hold your money for two weeks before they put it back on your card rip off!!!!

They wouldn't rent to me because I didn't have a second form of ID. If that was required then they should let you know before you get there. Won't use this company ever again.

I booked a reservation a month prior, also confirmed three tea including the day prior. I came in to my pick up time to find out they were sold out??? QAs given the pamphlet and advised to call the 800 number. I was offered up to $250 towards booking with a competitor and what I was explained was also incorrect, I have to send my receipt and documents to corporate, also my reservation was cancelled by the inventory manager which I did not at one time authorize!!!! So their turning it on me when I'm reality it was booked a month prior and the obligation was not met by their part. Unprofessional, and no empathy at all by anyone in this company, seems like they were reading scripts when speaking to me! Thanks for ruining my relocation!!

The single worst moving truck rental attempt ever. No inventory of the truck we reserved, even after it was confirmed. No manager available for at least 2 hours (and only by voicemail) and no one knows where the truck is that we ordered. I literally opened a Yelp account Just to make this complaint on our way to Uhaul.

They are closed for Easter which is understandable, however without notice we have no way of returning this car without getting charged an extra day. Called call center rep "Daniel" apologize 100 times and but didn't provide no solution, which added to my frustration. This is no way to go about any sort of business. Since this is a "independently operated" budget they should take care of their customers better than this!

I arrived at this location to pick up a truck that I had reserved. I was notified that I should have called to make sure they had it at the location, and that the location had been moved to a location in another city! I did not receive an email or any phone call regarding any changes. Proceed with them at your own risk!
