TLDR; Coggin collision center failed to properly communicate with my insurance company and enterprise. Their negligence caused me to lose money and I ended up with a product of a different color as a result. My vehicle was dropped off to Coggin Collision Center soon after an auto accident. I was fortunate enough to have my insurance company cover the cost of a rental while the work was performed on my vehicle. After about 3 weeks, I receive a call from Coggin informing me that my vehicle was ready for pickup. Once there, after checking in with the front office, paying and receiving my key, I noticed my seat-belt wasn’t functional and my car was giving an error message that stated “Check airbag system”. I immediately reported it to the front desk, where Bobby then walked with me to confirm the message. He was apologetic and told me to take my rental back, that they would work on getting the issue resolved and communicate with both Enterprise and Progressive. This is where the nightmare began. I received a call two days later from Enterprise, asking me to confirm that I had left my rental at Coggin. I, confused, stated that I did not because Coggin told me to take it as my vehicle was still being worked on. Enterprise understood and the conversation ended. About a week later, I get a call from a confused progressive agent, wondering why I was still in a rental and had not picked up my vehicle. I proceed to explain the situation to the agent. The agent informs me that progressive, as of two days ago, was no longer paying for my vehicle. That the vehicle should now be covered by Coggin. None the less, the agent states they’d send someone over to figure out this mess. A few days later, the agent informs me that my seat-belt is on back-order and that Coggin is unsure exactly on when it may come in stock. To make matter worse, Coggin has absolved themselves of the responsibility to pay my rental vehicle, as, according to them, an item being out of stock is not their fault. However, what IS their fault Is the time it took for them to order this part. Their negligence had me at an extra 7 days with the vehicle. Bobby eventually called back giving me the option of installing a seat-belt of a different color. I was unsatisfied with this, more so because now I felt forced to accept these terms or be unable to get to work. Bobby then said they could “negotiate” payment for my rental vehicle and after calling back, they agreed to pay for 3 days. Coggin’s lack of professionalism put me in a nasty bind. If they had done their job correctly, I wouldn’t have been forced to pay extra money to enterprise and I would have had time to think over the seat-belt situation. For all we know, the seat-belt might have been in stock then or if it had been ordered early enough, arrived on time. Unfortunately, I will never know. Honestly, I’m appalled by the way this company does business. I am in the process of disputing my payment to them with my card company. I can only hope that they can help me with the injustice.

Took my 2021 Toyota to this repair shop. The estimate was on the high side. But used them anyway. Toke one week for repairs to be done. They did a great job and my car was spotless when I got it back .The only problem I had was there wasn't much communication from the shop about the progress of the car.

Save yourselves the trouble. We chose to take our vehicle to Coggin Collision as we thought that having a Honda Dealership would mean they would be the best fit to fix a Honda; and, thought it would mean a quality job. Our insurance company would not cover for some parts to be OEMs; however, we paid for the difference out of pocket to make sure they were parts that fit the vehicle correctly. We had to take the vehicle back 5 times to get the bumper and hood adjusted. The Bumper was installed without brackets to hold it in place and kept coming undone. The Rep at Coggin had the nerve to say it was our fault and that we were dragging the vehicle somewhere to make it come undone. The hood wasn’t centered. We went to another shop. There were measurements taken on the vehicle regarding the thickness of the paint; and, according to those measurements, the hood was the only part of the vehicle with thickness below 100% of where it’s supposed to be. Simply meaning we need to spend more money to ensure the paint in our vehicles lasts.Services: Painting
