🟡 ROBO REVIEW: THIS DOLLAR GENERAL JUST SET THE BAR 🟡
Let’s be real for a second.
You ever walk into a discount store and it feels like a scene from a post-apocalyptic movie?
One cashier looks like she’s seen war.
Another’s staring blankly at the floor, trying to astral project out of their shift.
Boxes in the aisle like landmines.
And you? Just trying to survive long enough to grab a loaf of bread and a bottle of cold medicine.
That’s the norm.
But not here. Not this time. Not this Dollar General.
And let me tell you — I wasn’t even in good shape.
A little groggy, under the weather, just needed some medicine and a quiet minute. This spot’s right down the road from where I’m staying, so I made a quick stop... and walked into what felt like a damn retail miracle.
From the moment I stepped inside, it was different.
The store was spotless — I’m talking floors you could eat off of, shelves stocked and organized like someone took actual pride in their work, and a vibe that made you forget for a moment you were in a Dollar General and not some hidden gem of a mom-and-pop shop.
And the staff?
Next level.
Every single one of them was moving with purpose — stocking shelves, assisting customers, and doing it all with smiles, eye contact, and genuine greetings.
Multiple employees asked if I needed help, and not in that robotic, “I-have-to-say-this” way.
It was real. They meant it.
Let me emphasize this:
They asked me what I needed.
They showed actual concern for a customer — a sick, probably slightly grumpy customer at that.
In 2025? That’s rarer than a cart without a busted wheel.
I didn’t get names like I usually do — I just wasn’t at 100%. My head was foggy, my body was dragging, and I barely had the energy to focus. But I damn sure noticed the effort from that whole team. And that effort deserves to be seen, respected, and appreciated.
🛒 So to the crew at this Dollar General:
KUDOS. PROPS. SALUTE.
You made a sick guy’s day better just by showing up and doing your jobs like you actually give a damn.
Keep being the rare ones. The ones who care.
The ones who prove that excellence doesn’t need to be expensive — just intentional.

New Manager was incredibly rude when i asked for a discount on a damaged item. There was no replacement. Not to mention against policy. Will be taking to corporate. Someone so young is definitely not ready to me a store manager, especially with that attitude.

Great location with acceasible parking. Very friendly and hard working staff. The store is clean and well organized in comparison to other local dollar general stores in the area. They have a wide variety of items at great prices. If you download their app, you have access to all the discounts right at your fingertips. They have a convenient self-checkout line; however, the staff is more than happy to do the checkout for you.
Shout out to Ali, who is friendly and efficient at the cash register. She also does her job with a smile and that makes a huge difference when it comes to shopper experience. Chris, the manager, strives to make things right by the customers. He does his job well and treats the customer as if he was in the customer's shoes. I learned about the app discounts through him. Great employee to have taking care of your store.
Please note: parking and surrounding areas get very crowded during school pick-up time, mostly by parents waiting for their children to come out of school.

I would like to take the time to thank the nicest, most sincere manager named Juan Cintron who helped me get WIFI from an emergency. My wife and I are visiting Florida. The villa we are staying at lost power from the after affects of Hurricane Ian. Juan let me use his WIFI while I contacted the proper people. We found him ever so helpful and polite. We hope he is recognized for doing super customer service! Thank you again, Juan!! He also pointed out the best directions to help navigate us back to our villa.
