I recently had a challenging experience while on a trip to Florida with my son, who was unwell due to an ear infection. To add to the stress, his prescribed medicine spilled during the journey. Unable to return to our Georgia doctor, we visited Nemours urgent care in Florida. Johnny's warm and welcoming demeanor at the reception made the check-in and insurance process surprisingly easy, alleviating some of my stress. Monica, who attended to my son, displayed a similarly warm energy, successfully managing to take his vitals without any issues. Their compassion during a tough situation meant a lot to me. If your child is ever sick look for these two people.

I totally recommend this location. My child was seen in a timely manner. All the kudos to the Dr Edwin Ballelos! He came to the room smiling, with a good spirit. He heard my concerns attentive and talked with my sun in a friendly way. It looks like the Dr was present at the moment. Nowadays, it's common for you not even to see the doctor's facial expressions because all they do is enter the room, greet quickly, and start typing on the computer. Unfortunately, we are missing a personal touch in the medical field. But doctor Ballelos proved me wrong, that are still people that really care, and I'm forever grateful for that. Thank you!

There is no point to make an appointment. This is urgent care not emergency. Appointments should be respected. UPDATE: there are no appointments only reservations. Apparently they are a restaurant. But a restaurant will actually take care of you

I was at the doctor with my son with very highly fever and headache. I told them I have 5 days with Motrin and Tylenol. The doctor said it was a virus and didn’t prescribed medication. When we went back home my son continue with the fever very high and started vomiting. I took him to the emergency room and thank God he is alive.

My son had a anaphylactic allergic reaction on Christmas Eve. I called Nemours children health to make sure they were open and I spoke to a kayleen and she said they were open till 6:30 pm. We got there at 5:50pm just to get told we couldn't be seen by the same person saying they were open, kayleen. On Christmas Eve she turned away a military veteran and his family when all I wanted to do was to ensure the safety of my son.

m very frustrated with this place and I will not come back here after I was denied services because they said they had reached their capacity. Mind you there was only 4 parents at that time and it was 7:04 they don’t close til 8pm. I had just walked in due to my daughter having really bad ear pain. As soon as I came in a DOCTOR just shouted from behind the desk and clearly said we can’t see her we have reached our capacity. This has never happened to me EVER!

We brought our 3 month old son here. We live out of state so we had never been here before. They are extremely kid friendly and they really know what they are doing. I would return there if we needed care in this area again.

My 6 year old son was admitted into this emergency room on 9/9/22. He was complaining of an ear ache, he had a fever of 102, he had a headache, body aches, cough, runny nose and just overall felt terrible. (Not like him) He rarely gets sick. After being there for hours, a nurse practitioner came in and after a very quick exam determined that he had an ear infection and gave him antibiotics for 6 days. They also instructed me to treat him with otc Tylenol and Motrin. 6 days later I called them to tell them that my son was not getting any better and he had a continuous fever. Their exact response was “I guess you can bring him in.” I decided to bring him to another emergency room where they later diagnosed him with mono and we found out he never had an ear infection to begin with.If this emergency room would have thoroughly examined my son we would have known the diagnosis the same day and I could have treated him properly with the care and rest that he needed. The purpose of this review is to raise awareness to parents. Please make sure these urgent cares and emergency rooms do everything they can to properly examine and diagnose your children. Praying this does not happen to any other baby out there.

TERRIBLE SERVICEOn Saturday, September 3, I entered this center with my 4-year-old son, with all the symptoms of appendicitis.Threw upDiarrheaAbdominal painThe Dr gave a diagnosis without any laboratory analysis, saying that the child had gastroenteritis. He prescribed only for vomiting.nothing for the painnothing for diarrheaLast in the center exactly 45 minutes. On Sunday, September 4, seeing that the child's symptoms worsened and his abdominal pain did not improve, I went to the hospital in an emergency, immediately because of his symptoms, the Drs coincided with appendices, confirming it with the tests. At the time of surgery it was already peritonitis. If Dr. NEMOURS had been a little more responsible with my son's analysis and symptoms, she would not have taken such a risk.Definitely the NEMOURS center with doctors like this is not good for much and is a danger to all children!I don't recommend it at all

This place is the absolute worst. I’ve brought my daughter here a few times and the people who work here are the rudest, most inconsiderate people who don’t belong in healthcare. They don’t let you wait in the car, because “we can’t call people if we’re trying to move them into rooms.” So they make all sick kids sit in the same small waiting room for HOURS, don’t allow food and drink, and have signs that you need to keep 6ft of space when the chairs are 6 inches apart. And they just.don’t.care. There are kids in the waiting room without masks (over 2 and under) that are hacking, and one woman who isn’t wearing a shirt and has her bra only on, and no one is saying a word to them that they need shirts or masks. Then when you try to ask for someone to speak to about forcing my child and to wait in this environment because they are incapable of dialing a phone number, there’s no one in on Sunday to speak with. It’s no wonder they don’t care. I’ll gladly pay the hospital bills next time for an urgent care visit to avoid having to deal with this place. I’d leave negative stars if I could just to advise parents to go literally anywhere else.
