My mom was rushed there last year and admitted. The hospital staff and care was very good. The emergency room is another just ok and the wait in the emergency is too long but the care she received after her stroke was extremely exceptional. She was admitted in the hospital for the week and the physical therapy program there is sooooo amazing. They are all very good and had to provide them a great job and a big thank you for taking care of my mom. Also, I have to mention the front administrator when checking in named Wilda" She always is there to get you checked in with a smile and a sincere glad to see you every day I showed up. This review is my experience with my mom who was admitted and stood in this hospital for one entire month.

HORRIBLE hospital they let you die here! My father 81 yr has heart congestive heart failure and many other illnesses and was brought in at 10am yesterday March 22 he was not breathing well and with a bad cough and dehydrated. Turns out he also has covid . He was put in room b406 4th floor yesterday and NO one NOT one Dr has come to visit or anyone come to attend to him in 24 hrs. My 75 year old mom has also been there all night they won't even bring her sofa to stay with him he is bed ridden /paralyed and cannot feed himself or do anything so she is caring for him there sick herself. The front desk supervisor Sonia D my mom approached her for coffee and advised my dad had not eaten her response was utterly disgusting she told my mom fasting is a good thing! I spoke to her only to get a short nothing she can do answer. She said This was a public hospital and we needed to wait for the Drs to make theirs rounds???? We have to waitHe is getting sicker by the minute and NO One Cares. We are worried because he usually has fluid in his lungs and covid can really complicate his condition. I have been calling the hospital in an attempt to get someone to help the past 1hr and got no where. I have 2 ill elderly parents there with absolutely no help I am out if the state and am desperately trying g to get to the to someone to help them. I see all the reviews seems this is normal here. If my Dad was not in a wheelchair I would of had him go to a reliable hospital. Horrible

Worse hospital ever. I’ve been here since Sunday 03/24/2024. With pneumonia and my oxygen was very low. They have given me antibiotics and steroids to help me with my pneumonia. Now they want to send me home when my oxygen level are still low and I failed the 6 minute walking test yesterday and today. But still like this they want to send me home with a big oxygen machine when I live on a third floor and I have no elevator. Wanting me to take out and appointment with my PCP for next week. How I’m I going to bring up and down this big oxygen tank. The head nurse came in today saying regardless how I feel they are sending me home today. Her name is Leslie and I was so upset trying to make her understand my point of view and that I would need a much smaller oxygen that I can carry and not this big tank that was brought to my room. For one I dislike hospitals and I’m not wanting to stay here because I want to stay here. I want them to provide to me what is more suitable for me to carry around. After Lesilie the head nurse got me all upset she wanted me to stand up and go to a 6 minute walk with her. I told Leslie let me calm down and I’ll do the walk. Leslie then turned over to the personal that will deliver the oxygen and say just order what she needs I’m not taking her to walk because she not in the condition to walk and Leslie stormed out of my room. Leslie got me all upset then expected me to walk when I was breathing heavily do to the argument. You just don’t treat patients like this. I’m the patient and the one that’s sick. Then Leslie looks at me and says do you want the oxygen sent home or at the hospital I told Leslie more then once no one is going to be at my home. It’s only my husband and I and if he comes to pick me up no one is going to to home. Then in a attitude Leslie says fine it will be delivered to the hospital.

Yal should be ashamed i was in the er two days ago.this lady was going completely insane she was very elderly. Screaming and running causing chaos the staff was making fun over her and edging her on . Taking it as a joke they keep injecting her with medications over and over . This y it's important to go wit ur family to the er.also their was this other younger child patient they left him exposed with his gown untied you could see his whole back side. They need to be train to handle mentally unstable patient and disabled children. Also of ur admitted they turn the water off in your room at night from lik 10 pm to 5 am u have no water. It seemed like they where admitting for the slightest reason.I never had so much stress while being admitted through a er also cardiology is very rush they pick choose what procedure to do.iListen to the reviews

Medical assistant Yolanda screens the calls and messages and decides if and when she’ll forward them to the doctor or physicians assistant. I was left in pain after surgery, no nursing or wound care. I ended up having to go to the emergency room for care.

My son was sent there from Rockledge Hospital to take care of a bad infection on his right hand and arm, He was operated on to drain the infection and I was told how serious it was. He was release to go home with a drain tube still in him , was told to come back . But now he was told the case is closed and he has no one to look at it to see if its healing property .He has been going round in circles . He was told to go to the ER , the ER told him to go to walk in , walk in told to go to ER .then he was to go to the wound center to have blood work and to check is open wound and he was told from there they don't do that. I can see why you only 3.5 stars. I just wondering was is suppose to do with a open wound . Wait until it gets infected again for a ER visit to start all over again ? Oh by the way its a 51 mile drive one way from our house.

I was here for my girlfriend that had some issues with her ovaries being twisted up. The staff was great with treating her like family and making her feel comfortable. As a guest I felt very included with what was happening and assured everything was going smooth. Great staff all around, everyone was very nice and helpful. They helped with an easy recovery and helping her get out and feeling good again! Overall do recommend going here best hospital I’ve been to and I’m from a different state!

I was in medical 3 unit It was the best hospital experience I’ve ever had. They were able to fix me up and make me feel at home even though I’m from out of state. Channa and midori were the best nurses ever and there OB team was amazing as well, They did a amazing job keeping me and my family in the loop of everything that was happing, and I never once felt misunderstood or confused about any of my treatment.

Many remodeling but very poor services, the nurses pass by shouting and laughing as if it were a park, they walk around a lot and do nothing.

the nurses at on the PCU floor are so miserable with their job and should seriously consider a different career. They are so rude and SLOW and act like the whole world is going to collapse if you ask them for a cup of water. I don’t think they know how to multitask well, and maybe didn’t know what being a nurse entails. Overall, i’d say the absolute worse nurse i've ever interacted with would be Zach. He came into the room complaining and yelling at my aunt who has cancer, doesn't know english well, and i know for a fact doesn't bother anyone because i’ve been there for most of her stay, talking to her all demeaning and like shes a 2 year old child that doesn't know anything, that she needs to wait because its 7:45 in the morning, her showering isn't a priority and when I stopped him to tell him that he doesn’t have to speak to her like that he started complaining that he's already had her for 3 days…surely because thats his job as a NURSE.. he then stormed out if the room and STILL didnt unhook her from the monitor so he really just wanted to fight real bad at 7:45 IN THE MORNING, clearly no patients in need while hes fighting. Just an overall horrible and catty person who just doesn't seem to have empathy and actually the worst person to be taking care of someone that is sick.
