My father recently fell on his bike and had to go the emergency room in celebration. The emergency room staff was absolutely wonderful and exceeded my expectations. Right from the start to finish: from the screening nurse in the lobby, to the doctors, to the nurses ...everyone was great! They added a personal touch to make us feel comfortable during this stressful/ worrisome situation. They were knowledgeable and provided a great experience in the ER. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it!

Well let me start off by saying the staff is amazing. That being said I remember Celebration when it was privately owned and it was amazing everytime I went to the hospital it was like a vacation. However, AdventHealth got their hands on it and it went downhill from there like every AdventHealth hospital. So, when I went the lights were flickering, there was no A/c in the room; which I'm sorry isn't a hospital supposed to be cold to keep it sterile. They had a security guard taking temperatures of patients that walked in off of the street and there were a few times I saw him not do anything and wasn't even at the door to keep his post. And, he never took mine or my daughters temperature. I'm sorry, why the hell do you have a security guard taking temperatures anything dealing with patients other than, you know his job which is security not a medical professional. I'll tell you why they only have 4 nurses left at the hospital there were 8; the other four quit because they weren't being treated right, the nurse working on me had just quit the day before and they begged her to come back for a shift because they were short staffed. She has been a nurse for over 20 years with trauma 1 experience and she's getting paid 15/hr, that's insane to me they are putting their as well as their families lives at risk is that all it's worth. I don't blame them. I was in there for 8 hours not 1 time did we see anyone cleaning, which you know COVID! When I was in the one in Heart of Florida which is also owned by AdventHealth the floors were disgusting, they did not give me a mask. There was blood in the room that I was in and the floors obviously disgusting and have not been cleaned. So many staff members were complaining about AdventHealth. And, another thing why during a pandemic do nurses get paid only $15.00 same amount as Publix and target. AdventHealth needs to stop buying up all the hospitals just so they can put them in their portfolio and fix what's wrong with the ones they own now, unfortunately.

Pros: It is a beautiful building in a gorgeous town. The staff seem to be competent and take care of their patients. We have visited quite a few hospitals around Central Florida and have our share of rude nurses and staff. I have no negative comments for anyone here. Even the security guy with his dog was nice enough to walk us back to the parking garage instead of being mean. The care is top notch. Now, for this visit, we are only on one night so far so this may change but so far so good and the past visits were great. When you are not the patient, you notice the small things that are not as important as the care in the back but they are still appreciated. The fact that between 11 and 3 AM, the person running the ER waiting room put in three different movies for us to watch. They didn't repeat and she was on it as soon as it was over. The ER waiting room was clean and the person in charge came out to arrange the furniture. Negative: There is a great parking garage but it is on the opposite side of the hospital from the ER. You are not allowed to walk around the building since there are no sidewalks and there is a lot of traffic in the back so it is not safe. Normally, this is not an issue but this is in the time of a pandemic where only one person can go into the hospital at a time per patient, there is someone is normally waiting in the car or has to wait outside somewhere. There is parking by the ER but again, someone might need to stay in the car. The valet might not be the best option for this. The parking near the ER is lacking but there is a large parking lot at the corner. Guess what? No sidewalk to it. So when you leave the ER at 3 AM, you are walking through the grass or on the street. You can't park in the parking garage once it's that late since that door is not open and you cannot walk around the hospital. Pre-Covid, the emergency room was typically crowded. This is normal for all places but was something I noticed on past visits.

Came in with leg pain after a trauma. No physical examination by the NP they kept referring to as the doctor. Such a waste of time. They need emergency physicians to fully evaluate patients. Anyone can order an xray. Im glad there is no fracture, but I am still unable To ambulate. Now going home. Patients deserve better

(Translated by Google) They discharged us at 10 am and sent us to this pharmacy, which we did not choose to pick up the medicines. They kept us waiting until 11:30 am to deliver the medications. Newly operated wait more than an hour for medicines.(Original)Nos dieron el alta médica a las 10 am y nos enviaron a esta farmacia la cual no escogimos a retirar las medicinas. Simply, they saved my life. Had I not gone to the hospital, I wouldn't be writing this review today. The friendly staff admitted me. I arrived with severe dehydration as well as a slew of other issues. They kept me from dying. Then they tested me for COVID-19, and checked a second time to be sure. Once that was over, I was allowed to see the nice part of the hospital. The beautiful hospital, high-definition televisions and friendly staff made the most of an otherwise unpleasant experience.

I was going to give five stars because of the majority of my stay. I went in extremely ill and they immediately took me back and got to work on hydrating me and solving my issues. They admitted me to the hospital, to the COVID unit (No, I don't have COVID), worked on hydrating me, giving me the medications I need and monitoring my heart rate. The nurses in this unit were extremely attentive and friendly. Probably some of the best nurses I've ever experienced in my life (never personally been admitted to the hospital but have had family admitted). They made sure I stayed hydrated and if I asked for a pitcher of water or anything else they were quick to get to it.It wasn't until I was transferred out of that unit the night before discharge that I had issues. The nurse when I was transferred out was extremely friendly but I can say did forget about me a few times. In the morning the new nurse never came in to introduce herself and whenever I'd hit the call button or pop my head out the door to find someone they would tell me they were getting her but she never came or even called my room to see what I needed. My doctor came in at 8:00am to tell me I'd be getting discharged and I was happy, I contacted my ride and told them I'd let them know. Eventually (about 9:30) my tech came in and told me she had to take my vitals, I asked her when they'd remove my IVs because I was being released, she had no clue I was being released. She asked the nurse head nurse who also had no clue then checked the computer and said, "oh, I didn't see those orders." So the tech took my ivs out and told me I could get dressed and my nurse would be in shortly with discharge papers. I called my ride so he'd be ready. Two and half hours later and several attempts to contact my nurse she never even stopped in to ask if I needed water and never contacted me back so I ended up having to walk out because my ride was going to leave me. The nurse's name was Kathy. I never met her but the tech wrote it on the board. Other than that everyone else was great, she was just absolutely terrible.

Unfortunately for me I have health issues that have brought me to this hospital many times! I have always been treated with respect. I find the people working here are so very nice and compassionate. The hospital is always clean. Cudos to Advent health for trying to bring prayer and positive spiritual messages to your patients. You show your dedication to good health in almost every area; your videos you show, the medical procedures that are available, the doctors, nurses, techs and housekeeping people that you hire. Than why oh why have you let down sick people with your choice of nutrition I ask? I have noticed over the years that the food has declined here. It used to be very good. Home cooked, taste good nutrition! I have learned that your total good health, all stems from your GUT! If your gut is healthy the rest of your body will be healthier, If you eat good healthy food you will recuperate faster! This has been proven! I cannot give 5 stars because their nutrition is lacking . They serve food that contains high fructose corn syrup, red and yellow dyes, preservatives I can't even pronounce! I couldn't even get a juice or jello I could eat while I was on a liquid diet! As a hospital wanting your patients to heal; your choice of food you purchase for them to eat SUCKS! I think you can do better! You could hire a nutritionist that understands ingredients that are harmful to good health. Be more mindful of the ingredients in a product before allowing it into your hospital - on the second floor I was given a tray with two jellos ; one that was full of high fructose corn syrup and red dye and the other was an orange jello with some sugar and used tumeric for its coloring. But when I got to the 4th floor I could not request this other product I was only giving high fructose choices! I was told it's a hit or miss situation. I wonder how they cook their food ? What are they putting in? Are they buying fish from China? They serve tilapia - the worst fish to eat ! I think you can do better to help your patients and the community you serve by changing the way you feed the people who work and stay in your hospital!

if I'm at this place they should not have to ask me where I'm going it medical and personal. If I'm wearing a mask I shouldn't have to change the mask I'm wearing. just two things that I have gripes with when I come to a place that I should feel comfortable at

I just check out of Advent Health at Celebration Hospital. I arrived two days ago just to be tested because I might have been exposed through a friend of a frIend to the COVID-19. My health is compromised already and I had not been feeling well. I could not wait until next week to get in and get tested so I went to the ED at Celebration Health an Advent Health Hospital. I was tested, and had a cat scan and chest x-ray of my lungs. It showed I had double pneumonia and I was admitted into the a unit who is caring for COVID 19 patients until the result came back the next day. 1st COVID-19 test negative they wanted to be sure before I was released so they ran another COVID 19 test. Again, thank the Lord it was negative too. I was treated by a very dedicated and caring staff at Celebration Hospital. You are assigned your an RN who is your nurse, who you can call on their cell phone when you need to communitate with your RN. They will bring it to your private room...(FYI all rooms at Celebration Hosp. are private rooms). In times like these that really reassuring! All the dedicated persons who have hands-on caregivers I want yo gives big shout out too...my Rn's Esbt (sorry if I miss spelled your name) Eddie, and Faith, the ED staff, transpoters, cat scan, x-ray.. THANK YOU! You guys put your lives and your family's lives on caring for others. You are my REAL HEROS!

THE WORST hospital ever. These people tried their best to kill me over and over in April 2016. The only redeeming factor was Nurse Judy who is the best nurse I've ever had, and the doctor who did my leg surgery (I can't remember his name but he was very nice and did his best). This story is way too long for Yelp, but just trust me - DO NOT COME HERE unless you want horrible care!!
