Poor customer service. They told me I would receive my tax information day of after taking my payment, and their office is closed now, and I still haven’t received a copy of my completed taxes. Do not do your taxes here unless you want to drive and go pick them up or wait on an email that’s never going to come.

I would like to thank Rae's Accounting; specifically Rachel Cardenas for taking care of my tax needs over the past few years. Before seeking professional guidance through Rae's Accounting, I, like so many, used online applications such as Turbo Tax to file all of my federal tax returns each year. Big mistake. No matter what level you are on, financially, do yourself a favor and talk to Rae's accounting. In only a couple of years, I have developed a kind, professional relationship with Rachel Cardenas; who has been instrumental in maximizing my return. I have the utmost confidence in her ability to see things through on my behalf.

Even if you have an appointment, expect to wait hours to be seen. The lady up front is rude. I had the IRS audit me, after Rae did my taxes, I owed several thousands, due to Raes error and she dragged her heels helping me. Rae tells you about her many family members health problems and that's why she is slow. Her daughter and her many issues with her lovers. I shutter to have to picture that, in my head. Just to my taxes, correctly, I don't care that you decided that girls are now your thing. Go somewhere else. The IRS will find you.

Did over email last three years . Office help doesn’t replay to messages or emails til it’s convenient to them. Give them forms first of April. Did do taxes till May . Received late fee no accountability on there end . Emailed and call April thru May . Was always told we will get to them. Be honest, if you can’t do them , don’t.

We were referred to Rae about 5 years ago by one of my coworkers, and since then we have only been doing our taxes with her. Not only she is very knowledgeable, professional, but she takes the time to connect with her clients, understand their accounting needs, and to give the right tips and suggestions. There were a couple of instances when we had to update a couple of things on our end, and she was very diligent, quick to help, and 100% professional. The only constructive feedback we have are the long waiting times, but we understand that they get busy and it happens - we adjust and wait because we truly like working with her. Definitely worth your time and business.

Not only did Rae's Accounting handle my tax concerns in a professional and kind manner, they were welcoming and informative on helping me with additional information on my withholdings so I didn't have to owe on taxes every year! They also helped me from owing $734 this year to making $644 this year! If you are looking for a reputable accounting service, this is the only place you need! I plan on bringing my other discrepancies so they can help me get caught up! I'll never refer to any online "free" tax service again! Been going there for years now, and will never fo anywhere else. The team makes sure to answer all of your tax filing questions and offer advise on how to better prepare for the following year. They are also able to accomodate you accountant prefference (April is the best!) if requested! 1,000 thumbs ups for this business!

She takes her time to help me make sure that I have everything in order to file my taxes accurately and appropriately. Dishonest- Lies about deductions to get you a bigger tax return. Then the IRS will come after you. Long story short I now owe over $3,000 to the IRS.April has been doing my returns for the last couple of years. I suppose it is my fault for trusting her since I technically signed paperwork was correct. That's what you get for trusting people.As for the specifics:Claimed two education credits I was not eligible for, when I wasn't even in school. I did not provide a 1098t, which is required to be eligible for this credit.Claimed thousands in undocumented medical expenses and gifts.And the biggest one: filing as single instead of married. Yes, " Single" not "Married filing separately"I did bring my letter from the IRS back to Rae's to have them try and straighten things out. Low and behold, a few months later, the IRS sent me another letter stating they are correct and I owe the money.I have filed "Form 14157-A, Tax Return Preparer Fraud or Misconduct Affidavit" and I encourage others to do the same

I have no idea why someone would give these people anything less than 5 stars. They are awesome and even make sure I understand the process by answering questions in detail. I have been coming here for 4 years, they treat me like family when I arrive! Absolutely no complaints at all. Aaaannnndd if you get hungry, they have snickers ?.

Rae's accounting is a very reliable business. My wife and I have been coming to them for years and we are planning to stay with them for many more years. April and Rae are awesome and their staff respond quickly with any questions. If they dont have an answer at the moment, they jump to it and get you one. They will get your taxes done the right way!
