About Reunion Resort Golf Courses - Palmer & Watson
Reunion Resort Golf Courses - Palmer & Watson offer a variety of challenging and unique golf experiences across their three courses. The layout of the Palmer course is decent, with no two holes alike, providing good variety for players. However, course conditions, especially on the fairways, were seen as lacking, with some bare patches noticeable, which was disappointing given the high greens fees. The greens on all courses are very fast, leading to a lot of three-putts and longer rounds that can take over five hours, especially with numerous blind shots requiring cart back-and-forth. Despite these challenges, the greens generally rolled true and fast. The courses are in good shape overall, and greens are in excellent condition, providing a good playing experience. Pace of play is generally good, with rounds often under four hours, and complimentary water adds to the convenience. Staff at the pro shop, bag drop, and starters are friendly and helpful. However, issues with golf carts, including old, broken, or bald tires and malfunctioning coolers, detract from the experience, especially considering the high prices. The courses can be very busy, and lack of marshals sometimes results in slow play and backups. While the hotel and other facilities at Reunion Resort are top-notch and highly rated, the golf courses themselves may fall short of expectations for some players, particularly with course conditions and cart quality. Overall, it’s a resort with great amenities, but golf experiences can vary depending on conditions and equipment.
Review for the Palmer course - layout was decent (good variety - no 2 holes were the same). Conditions (except for the greens, they rolled fast and true) were lacking imho. For a $200+ round of golf - few too many bare patches on the fairways. Range was well maintained. Expected a bit more for the price tbh.

Cart died before finishing round. Very crowded. Courses are good but definitely not worth what you pay.
