michele is everything you want in a stylist. i have always left her chair feeling so radiant, confident and excited to flaunt my new look! for all of my fellow girlies who struggle to articulate exactly what you want, michele is your girl. bring your inspo pics and let her work her magic with the consult. this last time i saw her i asked for my dreeaammm hair. very #draculara inspo. she absolutely killed it! not only did i leave satisfied with the color, but also left with so much helpful knowledge about how to care for my hair and color given my naturally curly hair. all of this to say, her patience and kindness are something unlike any other stylist i’ve ever booked with. go check out the results of my new look on her ig y’all! @michelesenghair

I'm sorry to say that my experience was less than pleasant. I may just be spoiled because the Sephora I go to back home is full of the kindest, most helpful employees you'll ever meet, but finding someone to help me here was just way too difficult. Fortunately, I knew the specific product I wanted but when I had a question about something else I saw and liked, that was when it became apparent that finding someone to give me a moment of their time was going to be a challenge.
I walked around for ages trying to find someone to help me with my quick question, but you would have thought I had three heads with the way every single employee seemed to be speedwalking past me while steadfastly refusing to make eye contact. I ended up only buying what I came for and decided I'll just pick up where I left off at my local Ulta when I get back home.

Came to pick up an order on a Sunday and it was 6:15pm they were letting someone out I just wanted to ask if they could cancel my order since they were closed and I wouldn’t be coming back they were very aggressively pointing at the sign and I said I know I’m just asking since they are still inside and can cancel the order I wasn’t trying to go inside. The girl who clearly doesn’t know anything said you can cancel online and lmao anyone who shops Ulta online knows you can’t cancel anything online or on your own they have to or you have to call customer service. The two girls who were at the door one with dark hair and one really pale girl were just ridiculously rude and I was just asking a question I wasn’t wanting to even go inside. That they were both just really aggressive I get it you hate your 9-5 job I don’t make you work there so don’t take it out on me just asking a question politely.

Over the past few months, I have been going to the ulta beauty salon and I absolutely love my hair! I have been getting an Olaplex treatment + Gloss and have noticed such a big transformation in both the length and texture. My hair feels healthier, stronger, and looks better than ever. Michele truly knows what she's doing and takes the time to understand exactly what your hair needs. Every treatment feels so personalized and you can really see the results. I couldn't recommend Michele enough for your hair health journey!

So glad I trusted Naveah at the Ulta salon to do my hair! I’ve been getting highlights for about 10 years now and this is probably the best I’ve ever seen my hair. She understood exactly what I wanted, completed the highlights a lot quicker than they normally take, didn’t cut more than I wanted off of my ends, I left feeling really satisfied with my end result. I’ll definitely be going back.

Ulta is known for consistently having rude and unfriendly staff. The customer service is almost always unpleasant, which ruins the shopping experience. On top of that, their prices are high. That’s why they’ll never measure up to Sephora — good service makes all the difference, and Ulta just doesn’t deliver.

i waited until last minute to get my hair cut before a concert and decided to “settle” with just getting the ends cut at ulta, not expecting much. however, i was in love with the finish product! rose was incredible and knowledgeable and worked with me to figure out exactly how to fix my hair after cutting my front pieces too short at home. she also was amazing to talk to, ive never been more comfortable with a stylist. she made conversation easy but not forced. my girlfriend also stopped by the day after my appointment to get a previous hair cut fixed and rose was so great fixing it for her! i will definitely be coming back to her in the future!!

The women who work at this ulta are so rude. Truly just don’t want to work. I asked for help with shade matching. The woman with bright red/pink hair sighed and said k when another woman asked her to help me. She loudly dropped the basket of go backs she was holding and said “know what you want?” Rudely to me, i said it’s ok i don’t need help. Why would I accept help from someone who didn’t even want to help in the first place, sounds like a recipe for a bad shade matching to me. To the ladies i interacted with today- do better or get a new job. It’s not okay to behave like the customer is a burden or like you’re miserable.
