I rented a scooter for my aunt for our annual cruise out of Port Canaveral. The technician that delivered our scooter was friendly and informative making sure that she was comfortable using it. Definitely recommend and will call them next year! Thank you!

I had a very unpleasant experience with this company.I had ACL surgery 10 days ago and needed a wheelchair for Saturday evening. After seeing their 4.9 star rating compared to the other low rated companies across the city, I decided to call. They had availability. The girl I spoke with was very nice and accommodating. I paid $75 for the minimum two day rental and had a family member pick up the wheelchair.Problem came when I got on the wheelchair and put my right leg up on the leg rest (which needs to stay straight and needs good support). The padded piece was super wobbly and upon checking, it was missing one of the two screws that holds it in place. No big deal, we took one of the crews from the left side and put it in replacement.Still the leg rest was not holding up, not staying in place, the entire leg rest was not staying straight in level with the seat height. The padded part was wobbly and we had to add towels underneath to give it another 6" of height to support my leg. Once in movement though, the padded piece would drop to the front, the towels would slide and therefor my leg would lose the support it needed, I was in horrible pain, etc.I could not use the wheelchair because it was the more uncomfortable and painful option that I had at the moment. It was a very frustrating situation because we were at a public setting needing to get from point A to point B fast and relied on the wheelchair. Ended up having to use my crutches to get to point B.My original return was for Monday morning. Since the wheelchair was of no use, I had a family member return it on Sunday. I called ahead Sunday morning, spoke to the same girl from Saturday and told her about the incident. Told her that I hated to do this but that I wanted a refund as the wheelchair was missing crews, wobbly, unstable and I ended up not using it.She said a technician would check it on Monday and give me a call.Up until this point, I would have rated this company 3 stars for their deplorable equipment. But it’s what followed that is making me take the time to write this review and give this company 1 star. Would give it a zero if I could.Monday morning I receive a call from a man (The technician??) telling me that he had checked the wheelchair and that nothing was wrong with it, that the leg rest was NEW (still can’t believe he had the audacity to say such thing) and that I was not getting a refund. As I attempted to tell him the experience that I had and how it didn’t work for me, the man cut me off and gave me an attitude telling me how he’d been in business for almost 30 years and this had never happened before, how they give maintenance to their equipment often, blah blah blah. Basically how dare I say his wheelchair was not functioning. He was offended and not letting me explain myself. I asked him to please stop giving me an attitude and to “listen to me” as I tried to explain myself.Boy oh boy, what have I told this man. All I was going to say was “listen to me and hear my experience before you jump to the conclusion that you wheelchair is in perfect state”But he cut me off again and therefor only hearing “listen to me” and proceeded to give me a “lesson” about what it means to tell another person “listen to me”Long story short he was RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, INTIMIDATING, DEFENSIVE, IGNORANT.After he eventually finished his lecture I told him about the missing screw, instability, and my horrible experience all together in a very public setting.He said they would give me a 50% refund.I hope that if you consider this company, you are not in need of a regular wheelchair and you never have to interact with this man. He invalidated my experience and made me feel like a lesser human being.I’m assuming he’s the same person that responds to these reviews so go ahead and tell me…. “thank you for your review. To begin…. “ and go off saying anything that will make me look like I’m the one in the wrong and your company and equipment is perfect.

As a Travel Professional, I've recommended and booked Walker Mobility for clients before, but recently had the chance (or poor luck, lol) to need an ECV for myself after a major injury on a cruise.Walker Mobility was able to respond to my rental request promptly, and the scooter delivery person was phenomenal. I was completely unable to walk (had to hop off my port-to-resort transfer), where Leonardo drove the ECV right up to the door so that I could get right in. He showed me all the features and the scooter was in great condition, easy to use and really saved the day. We were even able to go out and enjoy EPCOT!When I had to return the scooter the next day, the same great Walker Mobility rep met me at the front of the resort and waited until my car service arrived so that I could get right from the ECV into the car.I was very pleased at his kindness, at the responsiveness of Walker Mobility, and will continue to recommend and use them for all my Orlando clients!

We have rented from this company in Orlando, DC and at the port for cruise lines. They are very helpful in getting everything set-up and upfront. Was really great for renting at the cruise line. It was our first time doing Disney and cruise. Took pictures and sent us what we needed to look for to find it at the port. Made it easy. Great company.

These are the best scooters on the market and company. They accommodated my every need and the scooter lasted all day long. One of the days it didn’t even get out of the green before we got back to the room. I have found my new mobility scooter company. Thanks walker

We have always had great service and scooter from here. They do what they promise. If you need an electric scooter this is the place to go. We rent one from them for the Daytona 500 every year. We were rained out this year and they worked with us to use it the next day also. Great company and staff.

I used the scooter on the cruise ship, the past couple of days, it was awesome!! I loved the phone holder & the usb port was an added plus! The charge lasted all day!! I had no issues with it at all!! The gentleman who dropped it off was great, he made sure I know everything about the scooter, he asked me if I had any questions.I was so comfortable in it also!!Thanks for such great service!!

We went to Disney for my daughter's SR trip and I was still doing chemo and needed help getting around. I rented from Walker and it was an amazing experience! Super easy to rent, the pricing was very affordable and most importantly, the scooter was modern, well maintained and navigated Disney (including all the twists in line) with ease. It was important to keep up with my family and not drag down the trip and this scooter helped me do that. In fact, they had trouble keeping up with me. One of the best things about the rental was they brought it to me, showed me how to use it and picked it up. Super easy! We are planning another trip soon and I will be renting from Walker again! You can’t go wrong by renting from this company.

Never thought I'd need a scooter but right before the trip to Disney, my mobility was impaired due to a recent illness. Called every scooter company in the area, everyone was either booked already or their customer service was awful. I read about Walker Mobility on a Disney blog. I called and the Owner John, personally answered the phone. He was kind and very accommodating. We choose a time for the scooter to be delivered to our hotel. Well as luck would have it, we got in early and wanted to hit the parks immediately. I called Walker and they had Donel deliver the scooter within 15 minutes. Beyond kind and accommodating. And again, when it was time for pick up, they were there when they said they would be. I wouldn't even look into other company's, choosing walker is a no brainer. If in need, I would 100% use them again. The scooter was very easy to use and saved our trip.

This being our first time to use this kind of service I was a bit skeptical. However, my phone call was returned unbelievably fast by a very courteous, helpful agent. I had contacted at least one other rental place in Orlando with no call back, so their promptness was the first indication for me that they would be my choice. The price was reasonable (check with other companies about their "add-ons" for insurance, etc. They quote a cheaper price but then you have to add all the extras and before you know it they aren't so reasonable any more. Walker's pricing was fair and they often offer discounts which is a big plus. The scooter was waiting at our hotel, as promised, when we arrived. It worked easily. My wife had to get used to it but the learning curve was quick. A couple of bumps getting into elevators, etc., but before 24 hours passed she was zipping around the Gaylord Palms Resort on her Ferrari (LOL) and I was kind of wishing **I** had a scooter. Followed the instructions to charge it each night. The batteries stayed strong and charged up all day. It was a HUGE relief for us to have a scooter to help my wife move around.Walker Mobility made this such an easy endeavor. Pleasant and helpful to deal with, they answered all our questions and concerns and the scooter was a God-send. We did not disassemble it to transport it off property. The bell stand was very accommodating and kept it ready any time we left the property so at our return we just picked it up and went about our business.My wife was able to go anywhere on property she wished to go. After you learn the ropes of using elevators and ramps, you can zip around really easy. This truly was a pleasant trip made possible by having the scooter.I wouldn't hesitate one minute to contact Walker on our next trip to Orlando. They are a great company to work with.

Highly recommend! My mom was a first time scooter user on our cruise. The drop off and pickup were so smooth, and the scooter was much nicer than what RCCL provides. We will definitely use again!

Amazing!!!! I have rented from several places and by far Walker Mobility has had the best customer service, best price and the best equipment. My wife has a Pride Go-Go Elite at home, something that others in Orlando rent, and she wishes she could take the Walker scooter home with her. It is smooth, not jerky and the battery lasts all day long at the parks. Give them a try and tell them the Greek sent you!!!

We have used Walker Mobility for WDW and absolutely love it. The company has great customer service & delivered the scooter to our hotel. We will use them again next time.
