I love this organization! We have adopted our littlest family members there and they are very well taken care of by the staff and volunteers. I will always support them and will be back for the next addition to our family. ?

This place is a joke ! Not enough staff to handle the animals that they house. The manager is too busy to help you and she is one sided. I filled an application to adopt on nov.1st it wasn't til I had called to inquire about it numerous times that she finally got back to me. She is way over her head with this job she cannot handle it. Maybe if she could she would find out the truth about things instead of making a decision on a one sided conversation. And it was approx 15 days after I had filled an application out that I even heard from her. They need a new person in there that will be fair and listen to both sides of the story before she makes a decision .her name is Rebecca so beware people she is unfair and only listens to one side of the story.

My fiancé fell in love with a cat named "Gator"We waited a week and a half to adopt "Gator". When Becky finally called us back, only to tell us we could not adopt because our 4 month old AKC Standard Poodle puppy who is to be shown, was not spayed. Which one, if you spay that early it affects the growth of large breed dogs and two, she is a show dog that needs to be intact. Further a review of their website, Facebook, and instagram page says nothing about this requirement or policy. This was absolutely ridiculous because our cat is spayed which is the species that maters. This just came across poorly and we felt that they wanted to judge and punish us because our dogs were not spayed. We are very responsible pet owners and would have allowed Gator to live his best life. Now he will be stuck in that prison with the multitude of other cats that they want hold onto like currency

I sent an inquiry in 2 weeks ago and got no response. I called three separate times and was told the “manager” was very busy and that my previous message was on her message board, but she hadn’t cleared her messages out. I never heard from her or anyone else, so I sent another email 2 days ago, still no response. I don’t understand how an organization that is supposed to help pets get adopted into a loving home, can be run so poorly. I feel horrible for the pets waiting to be adopted and nobody there is doing their job. Really disappointed.

They just charged too much money for a kitten and to have your own kitten fixed.

So far super happy! The owner is very sweet. I just had adopted Jethro Bodine. He had a cold when we adopted him (and still does) and they were very kind to give us his medicine that he was on. He is smart, curious, loving, sweet, and a quite hilarious kitty. If he had one wish it would to be scratched behind the ears all day.

My husband and I fell in love with a little dog at the shelter and immediately put our name in to adopt her. We were told we were #1 on the list. We were delighted. We were told we could take her home 6 wks after she was spayed. We visited her weekly for about 5 weeks. We held her, took pictures of her, had a sign made with her name added to her for our motor home, called many times to see when she would get her surgery. Her surgery finally took place either the day before or after Thanksgiving. I called the Monday after Thanksgiving to find out how she was and when we could Take her home. I was told someone else had adopted her and they were picking her up the next day. I was shocked and angry. No apology just "someone must have made a mistake " by a very cold sounding woman. The staff knew us since we were there all of the time and they had to get her out of her kennel for us to hold her. We will never adopt from them. Beware! Rachel Sue

I attempted to adopt a dog and went so far as to see several of them because I wanted a dog that would get along with my submissive dog at home. I was told I couldn’t bring my dog in for a meet n greet if the manager wasn’t there. Left my name and number. She never called back! And I tried to call and no one answers the phone. Poor excuse for a rescue!!!!
