A Quilting Palette, LLC is a small, bright, and cheery shop packed full of the most varied and beautiful fabrics, with an incredible and great selection. It also offers notions, kits, and supplies, including an excellent selection of reasonably priced wide backs. The shop has expanded and now includes a large, separate classroom and workspace next door called "The Happy Place," which is available for retreats and opportunities. They are expanding again to offer do-it-yourself long arming, adding longarm machines for rent. This provides a money saving idea, a whole lot cheaper than buying your own longarm, allowing you to make your own quilt from start to finish for an incredible feeling. They offer instructional classes for a nominal fee to train you on the equipment before scheduling rental. The owner and workers are very friendly, super nice, pleasant, very helpful, knowledgeable, and eager to answer questions. The owner goes above and beyond, spending a lot of time offering help and information, including advice on sewing machines and the best classes for beginners, even without making a profit. They offer one-on-one sewing lessons. The atmosphere is happy and the people are very friendly. The shop is conveniently located close by, not far outside The Villages near Orlando, and is easy to find. It is highly recommended as a super place and a definite stop on any quilting shop adventure.
Very nice quilt shop. Good prices and great friendly service. This was my first stop in but I will be going back.

My quilt chapter recently had a retreat in the classroom, "The Happy Place". I loved the space and the opportunity. The shop was a bonus, being right next door with a great selection of fabric and supplies. Best of all, it is close.
