they tried to deliver a damaged appliance. I refused it and they ordered a new one and set up new delivery. after waiting all day I called and was told they had canceled the order that morning and refunded me less than the purchase price. on hold for 30 minutes waiting for someone who could help me and surprise no one picked up the call. don't order anything from them

Bought a Samsung dryer online from the store in Lady Lake Florida. When delivered, the door swing was on the wrong side, opposite from the website picture. Called the 800 number on the card the delivery man gave me and spoke with Martha. She gave a 10 day out date for changing door swing, asked to speak to her supervisor. Supervisor Robin wouldn't help me and made the situation worse. They won't change door swing, would not return the dryer, I was stuck with it. Robin was transferring me to the store manager and of course cut me off! Called the store directly and spoke with Ashton, whom really wasn't in the store was on HOMEDEPOT.COM!!! Then we realized the exhaust connection was damaged, delivery man pushed to to wall so we didn't notice at first. Will never by from Home Depot again or a Samsung appliance.

Paid extra for their home "scheduled delivery". No call, no show. Twice in a row. Still waiting for my items. Also, 2 weeks ago paid for a new garage door opener with professional installations, not one single call from them yet to schedule the installation. When I call their installer's number it goes to voicemail every time. They never return the calls. This is FRAUD! They pocketed my money and refuse to do anything about it. Filed a case with the BBB but what good will that do to a company that clearly doesn't care at all about their customers. Now have to waste even more time with my credit card company to see if I can reverse these charges. Save your time and money, and a lot of frustration, and go to Lowe's instead.

Generally find their employees to be cordial and knowledgeable. Especially like dealing with the former tradesmen and often, Stock holders, you know the one who walks you to the aisle and to the item!

Don't bother using this store if you require help in finding a small item. Waited 37 min. And talked to 4 associates (who paiged over loud speaker) to receive help. After searching for item they looked it up and found it to be available only online. Too long a wait for an item. Dissatisfied.

I bought a brand new washer and dryer this past Sunday and was told that it included free delivery, sweet right. I asked about times of delivery and the cashier/sales assistant asked "what time would work?" So I said " as late as possible." He suggested 5 o' clock and I agreed upon that time. Now currently I received a call that my order will be here tomorrow, close to 5 o' clock, 24 hours notice right! ; sweet! Not at all! I received a call with 17 hours notice, not the 24 hour guaranteed time. Also the delivery is set between the times of 10am and 2pm. So I called to reschedule it for a later time figuring it was an overruled decision by logistic. So I called the delivery staff team for this location and Nope those are the only delivery times, therefore i was lied to by the sales representative. I also inquired about picking up the appliances from the store directly during my leisure time. The options I was given was to cancel the order then re order for curbside pick up. A hassle right? Needless to say the appliance sales staff are not properly trained, nor is there a way to reschedule for a later time. Just remember to not trust any words given from Home Depot staff as they are not well fit for the job taken. Thank you for the read I hope it was helpful. Now I get a Friday off with no pay, added aggravation and a Home Depot special where I a customer must comply with given circumstances.

Home Depot is a special trip North for me, Lowes is way closer to home. I went to HD looking to duplicate a tool belt pocket I had purchased up north. Imagine my surprise when they had such a large selection of patio furniture, which we have been shopping for. Lowes doesn't have much, nor Bjg Lots, and all the " draw up a comfy chair and order with me" places are ghastly expensive. So this review has nothing to do with how crooked the 2 x 4s are or are not, and I didn't walk in looking for patio furniture, but we ended up buying there, so bravo

Bob in the paint department is horrible at customer service. He changed his story as to why he couldn't "shoot a color". I get rules are rules but two different stories - no. I've seen him in action like this numerous times since August 2021 and will walk around until someone else in paint is available. My husband didn't know this until dealing w Bob Dec 6 2021. He's a horrible representative for Home Depot. Kudos for working Bob but you need to go somewhere - maybe in an office or warehouse ALONE. We ended up walking out and will go to our fabulous local Ace on Hwy 25 where they are kind, helpful, and truly treat customers with respect and appreciation. Ace is the place....

09/08/2021 @ 530pm . Very rude people work here. I was looking for a particular over the range microwave their website said they had it in Lady lake. I'm right down the road in The Villages so I called to double check so I could stop by and purchase. I was connected to the appliance department and the man that answered did not even want the product number or did he care to look I then told him. Home Depot website says its available at that store But he did say he could order it, snickered and said you may be able to get it by the end of October. How would he know he didn't ask me the product number. I said your really no help so I called the store back to speak with the manager the man that answered said he was the assistant manager Told him the guy in the appliance department was rude and not helpful, he turned it around and said to me did you speak to him like your speaking to me then he hung up what a holes there

We contacted Home Depot to request a quote on new windows. Tom Stuart, a very friendly, respectful and professional representative of Home Depot came out to review our project. Our project is very unique because it is a very old 1961 block one room cottage in desperate need of remodeling. Tom took the time to explain our options and answered all our questions and concerns. He did not rush us or try to push any particular products. We were very impressed with Tom and look forward to our beautiful windows installed by Home Depot. Wish all our dealings with other companies had a nice guy like Tom representing them!

Usually purchase appliances at Lowes, never have had a problem, if you are not happy with a purchase, they take it back no questions asked and help get what you need/want. However, needed new upright freezer, and the pandemic has really limited the selection, so tried HD for first time. What a horrible mistake. Freezer came and the delivery & hook up men were just excellent. However, when they left I reached for the direction booklet they had torn from the packaging and put on top of the new unit. I immediately realized there was no KEY ! Very unusual ! Then, when I looked closely at the plastic envelope it was obvious what happened.... it was torn on one side and the key had obviously dropped out and was swept away with the packaging (they did clean up all carton packaging). I tired to wave down the truck at the end of the block, but they were off to the next stop. I called the number they have given me if there were any "problems". I called and explained and asked if they could reach them in the truck before they got too far from the area ? "Oh, certainly" I was told, They will call you when I get in touch with them. An hour passed, nothing. Called again, this time not "sunny" but "Steve", WHO told you that was the nasty self serving question. "She said her name was Sunny" I said. "I have NO Idea who that is". So I explain AGAIN. This went on FOUR times over 3 hours. The last 3 would not even try to help. I got in my auto and drove to the store. One employee said she could not help but know someone who could. Waited for that person 30 minutes due to break time. He came, said he had NO IDEA what they would tell me he could help ! ? He gave me number of GE and said, once delivered we have NOTHING to do with it any more, it's G.E.'s problem from there. For the life of me I could not internalize such an irrational way of thinking ! HOW could G.E. be involved in ANY WAY when two delivery men made a mistake by making a small rip in the side of a package and the key fell and was (it appears?) taken away with the packaging. G. E. could not be responsible in any way.... but it was the COMPLETELY uncaring in even the smallest way on the part of ALL the individuals in "customer service", or in the actual appliance department in person, and of Home Depot in general. NEVER AGAIN, NEVER NEVER. Can't believe there could be so much different between HD and Lowes !

Have been a home depot customer for years. Ordered patio furniture, and it went into my online shopping cart. when i went to pay, said out of stock, so I ordered a less preferred color. next day it came back in stock, so I ordered and cancelled the original. Hassle city, it would not let me cancel the coffee table and nothing on the new order could be cancelled. So the status is, I cancelled the original loveseat and chairs, getting 2 coffee tables, I have the hassle of returning one. Second set scheduled to arrive June 4, all good, and then I get a notice my order suddenly is out of stock again and on backorder, but they will cancel after 30 days if not back in stock... so I will then have a coffee table I wont need past the return window. There are 2 lowes and one HD in my area... guess where I will shop... and there's still 3000 in holds on my credit card. Hey Homey Depot... get your act together... most dissatisfied

With all the money Home Depot is pulling in during the pandemic you'd think they'd have enough staff to help customers. I've gone there two evenings and no one was there to sell me countertops. Finally a guy from another department waited on me. I called to get an idea of when someone would be out to measure for templates. After over 13 minutes of ringing finally someone answered and gave me the number of the installers-- and it's not Home Depot. I guess I'll take it from here.
