Closed for a week because of a hurricane that didn't even hit. Now I have to wait an hour in a ridiculous line. I WILL be finding another bank.

For the most part, Insight Credit Union provides good customer service. They are courteous, friendly, and responsive. But they are mostly a bank for those just beginning the journey of life. If you have not established great credit, have questionable credit, and are fairly new into a career endeavor this bank is for you. On the other hand, the credit and business products at this institution does not compare to the bigger credit unions and first tier banks. I applied for a credit card limit increase for a card that I've had for over ten years, never been late with a payment, low utilization, excellent credit score, and high income. They did a hard inquiry on my credit, only to approve me for a $2500 increase. That was after having to spend three days on the phone supplying them with "information". The approval process at this bank is slow, tedious, and requires too much information for what the member is requesting. I have banking relationships with many other banks and almost always approved for products without any hassle. There are times when bankers with other institutions will reach out to me with great offers without having previously applied for those offers. IMO, banks should always be of service to its customers/members. I have made the decision to limit my banking transaction with Insight Credit Union in the future.

Worse costumer service, leesburg branch is like no one likes to work there and you are an inconvenience to them, no greeting, no have a nice day, attitude is terrible ? may change banks

Love Insight but I went in 2 our local branch and there new Branch manager Lindsey Shively has 2 be one of the rudest most impersonal people I have ever encountered short ,unreceptive, knows everything kinda person .I've been with the credit union 10 yr and service has always been great hope the new Manager finds something to be smile about

Sent me a letter accusing me of being delinquent on a car loan, and threatening legal action when in fact I wasn't. Called them, and they said it was their mistake. No apology. No nothing. I do not have any faith in this financial institution. It's like they don't know what they're doing.

Worst credit union. Slow service not enough employees working. Lobby not open so only drive thru. They have 3 lanes only ever 2 lanes open. Sad I have been with CI for 30 yrs.

Wish the Lobby was Open as Before the Pandemic, as the Drive-ins are sometimes very busy. Folks here are Very Helpful and you get more Interest here than Banks! Lobby by appointment until after pandemic is over.

I have been a customer for 20 years and this past year has been the absolute worst. Twice now in the past 6 months my bill payer payment was not received by my creditor. We employ you to send out these payments on a certain date not say oh well sorry, can't do anything about it now. I am also sick of every time my husband uses his debit card the fraud detection service calls about 2 hours later. Every. Single. Time. You'd think great they are keeping track - it GETS OLD that you can't then go from the gas station to Publix to get groceries because they deactivate your card! There you stand in line with groceries with a card that won't work. Latest we were part of a group that our pins were compromised by Insight. Had to wait on new cards for 3 weeks. This is beyond ridiculous! You failed! You are fired!

Absolutely the worst of any state I have lived in. And people think today's banks "stink", try this credit union owned by "members". We travel between two homes, this CU has a habit of locking people out of their accounts even when the definitely use the correct password. The website is often down, this can be a serious disaster when out of Florida and trying to access information like checks that have cleared, etc. Their "customer service" people NEVER, and I mean NEVER, answer the phone in less than 30 minutes, and most often you are going to be on hold for over an HOUR, like today ! There are NO apologies after ignoring calls while (what ? drinking coffee ? chatting with other employees ? perhaps they play on their cell phones until they decide to take a call each hour ?). This place is shameful, been a customer since 2004, have substantial holdings there, after suddenly cutting me off AGAIN from access to my account about some kind of software update, I was told THEY have disabled ALL passwords and ALL customers are required to stay on the phone for over an hour.... or "they strongly suggest you get in an auto and drive to a location and stand in line there... all punishment for being with them nearly 20 years and keeping substantial assets there. That will end by Monday ! The actual tellers in most locations are friendly, but they seem to have absolutely no input into how this "crazy" institution is run. Honestly, I don't even trust their software security, fails way too often, seems very outdated, and they are now pushing their "app", would hate to experience that when they can't get a simple WORKING platform for on line banking. Just nothing good to say here, sorry, usually like to give praise.

HAVE FOR YEARS NOW BEEN STRAIGHT UP VERY NICE PEOPLE ALWAYS HELPFUL JUST NEVER EVER ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM ONLY THING THEY STOPPED THE WAY U USED TO BE ABLE TO CALL AND CHEK YOUR ACCOUNT BALANCE WITHOUT HAVING TO WAIT TO TALK TO A PERSON I MISS THAT #!!!!
