It was time for me to get a new eye exam and eye wear since I had new insurance. In the past, I've wore rimless eyeglasses because that is the style that I love the most but the thing is that my prescription was so strong that rimless eyeglasses were not suitable for me. Anyway, with my new insurance, it covered a lot eyewear and lenses but it was hard to find a place that had a pair that I liked and I looked everywhere. I found MyEyeDr. on an internet search and they accepted my insurance so having an eye exam done at another place for free, I decided to go to La Bichara location to pick out a selection. Now, this place is small but I finally picked out a frame that I liked and covered everything including Transitions lenses, Progressive bifocals, the frames and all came to $150! Other places wanted up to $400-700 for the same thing. I believe that the person who helped me was Stephanie (???) and she was extremely helpful and knew what I would like. I really would recommend this place if you have the same issues with your vision insurance. The only thing is that the place is a bit small and their selection is a limited but, just go in there with an open mind and you will just find what you are looking for. Will definitely go there again!

When I first came to MrEyeDr I was greeted warmly and promptly. They introduced me to Stephanie, who helped me through the process. I was in need of new glasses and repair of some old ones. Stephanie was very friendly and helpful especially with my new insurance and I am happy to say that I have beautiful new glasses. Stephanie also put new lenses in my prescription sunglasses that stops the glare and has my new prescription. I received a text within 2 two weeks of my visit, saying everything was ready to come and pick them up! I would highly recommend them. Thanks Stephanie for helping me pick out my cute new glasses! ?

Great service Great experience. Was helped with choosing my glasses ? that I have to wear all the time so then I need them to be the best, plus I have to like them. Thank you all for the help. I laughed a lot also when I told an older gentleman my second job what it was and how I could never use contacts with dust & work out I do. Thanks to the lady that helped me pick out the glasses the ones I liked she did also. Thx what a blessing of a place. See you all when I go pick up my glasses. I have been a patient of Dr. Berry for years. I showed up for my 3pm appt today (which was booked months ago). I was told that they had tried to verify my appointment and that my number was disconnected. I was told that they tried to contact me on 10-14 and again on 10-17 and both times got a recording that my number was disconnected. I had them call my number with I was standing there and they got a disconnected recording. I showed them that I did not get that call either. When I verified the number they were calling, they had typed number wrong when I gave them my new number when I booked the appt months ago. I asked to speak to office manager and asked to please work me is since this is their error and NOT mine. I am an R.N. And it is very difficult to get off as I work Mon- Friday. Office manager only offered to reschedule appt. I told her I waited months and need to be worked in. She again refused. I asked for my medical records while I was there and she refused saying that Dr. berry has to review them first. I called back and asked them to have Dr Berry please call me at the end of the business day and that did Not occur either. This is a VERY POOR way to conduct business. It is NO wonder why overal rating has declined.

Got a appointment for July 12th made in May, today I called to verify my appointment time ,Stephanie took the appointment on May 18th 2022, so when she answered put me on hold for a couple of minute she came back on and told me that she didn't have a appointment for me . Then said she could make me one. I told her no I'll l find someone else and since she obviously couldn't run a professional business that I would find someone else

I have been a faithful client here for the past 4-5 years but, now that Dr. Ducharme has retired and sold the practice, I am totally dissatisfied by the lack of service. I was talked into purchasing Progressive lenses and gave them my current pair of bifocals to reuse my frame and to save money. However I could not see with them, they re adjusted them and still I could not see with them so was going back to bifocals. This has been going on for over 1 and 1/2 months. I have been told the same story for 3 weeks now that the lab has made errors. I have been using an old perscription and can not see properly and have explained this to them to no avail. They were paid and I still do not have my glasses!!! Ridiculous. I will definitely never return there again.
