Prices keep going higher and higher evertime you go there.I paid over $8 per container to refill chlorine.Checked another place up the road further and they only charge $ 3.99 to refill chlorine containers. The new management is price gouging people and not very helpful people and very slow. Not happy with the service. Not happy with theservice.service.atallall.all,allwould recommend not going there

Signed up for pool service. Never got anyone to come service the pool. No phone calls. Asked for refund of payment for services and have not received anything. Called and spoke with the woman who charged my account and she got testy with me about her company's problems. Claimed she didn't have authority to issue refund although she charged my account initially. Just an overall bad experience at this franchise. I have done business with another Pinch A Penny franchise and received excellent service. The woman at Lady Lake Pinch A Penny needs some serious remedial customer service training.

Very bad attitude of owner and staff. They will tell you anything to make the sale, then service after the sale is non-existent. Very high priced and rude.

EDIT: It now appears that the owner of this rogue franchize is taking the stance of a liar. First, I've never seen these chemical jugs sold or used anywhere else but pinch a penny. Second, this "policy" doesn't seem to coincide with any other location around(I've called). The last point in this edit I want to make is that I will be taking my business to the pinch a penny franchize in Leesburg and urge others to do so as well. At least there you'll be a respected customer, rather than viewed as something you squeeze money from.I regret being honest and making note of the broken container. Had I known of your dishonesty and greed I would've said nothing and allow you to have filled it up and spill chlorine everywhere after I left.Your franchize agreement should be revoked.Went in today to purchase some liquid chlorine and exchange the jugs as one normally would. Unfortunately the last time I had to purchase chlorine, the store gave me an older jug which had seen better days. The following morning I noticed the strong smell of chlorine and found that this older jug had split open near the bottom and dumped chlorine in roughly a 6ft circle, ruining the painted concrete it sat on. I understand that these things happen, cleaned up the mess and marked the jug as bad for the store to take it out of circulation. Much to my frustration when I went to exchange this bad jug for a new one, the store owner decides its in his best interest to charge me an extra $10 for another jug. Even though you only pay a deposit on these jugs, and you're also at the mercy of the person working there to inspect these older chemical containers. I feel that this is an unacceptable way to treat customers and I fully intend to share my situation with their corporate office.

Gayle that works in the customer service is great. She pays attention to details and is always glad to help out. We also just hired Pinch a Penny to do our pool after a two other pool companies left it a mess. The guy that cleans our pool Makto has been great. In 4 weeks he has been handling out pool he fixed what the others could not. Glad to have him doing my pool and I believe in giving honest reviews and this is one.

I've been going to this store since the day it opened. Today I was treated like a stranger. Must be new management or something. Never plan on going to this store again. Highly recommend that you do business elsewhere.

Been going to this store since it opened about 12 years or so, I was not given a receipt last week when I made a purchase. Today I needed to return it . I was treated like a stranger, almost to the point but just shy of calling me a lier. Never will they get my business again. Recommend that you do not waste your time or money with this store.

The store at Lady Lake is OK if you just want to buy parts or get your water tested, and Gail is a very knowledgeable and friendly salesperson. But recently I decided to have them clean my pool and paid a month in advance. The first week, I found a note in the patio door stating the person added 1 tab (I assume Chlorine) and a half gallon of acid. Also a checklist showed the the walls were brushed, tiles cleaned, strainer baskets emptied, chlorinator cleaned, surface skimmed and leaf raked. Although I was home all day, I never saw anyone around so whomever was there, was there for a short period of time. This past week, week number 2, I observed the person enter our pool area but I didn't observe him testing the water. He proceeded by pouring another 1/2 gallon of acid into the pool, although the note he left stated the chems were all good. I ask when he would vacuum the pool and replied"when it needs it". He quickly brushed the tiles, swept the pool and then left. The person took less than 10 minutes to clean the pool. I called Gail and told her I no longer need their cleaning services.

Gail is GREAT! I’ve used this store for 5 months and have had great service but Gail really spent a lot of time over a few weeks helping me solve some issues I was having with my chemical balance. She has a tremendous amount of knowledge and enjoys helping the customers. Recommend THIS location for OUTSTANDING customer service!

My pool pump motor went during the hurricane Ian. I called my pool company and they told me it would be a few weeks. I called Adam at the Lady Lake store on Friday morning, and my new pump was installed the following Thursday. Gary, the tech installing the new pump was excellent. He explained the pump setting to me and had everything set up and working properly. Thank you Adam for your excellent service and advice.

I purchased a vacuum for my pool last year. It broke within about nine months of use and was just going in circles. I took it back to Pinch A Penny Pool Supply where I purchased it.I was told that Adam was the one that fixed the units and he would take care of it. Fortunately it was under warranty. Unfortunately after about a month of waiting on it and calling I was told that it was fixed only to bring it home and find that the problem was not fixed.I took it back up to the store about a month ago. I was told it was fixed and went to get it then I was told it wasn’t fixed. Now I am still waiting on the vacuum to be repaired under warranty. The people that work at Pinch A Penny Pool Supply in Lady Lake Florida are extremely nice. It is a shame that their service on units such as this vacuum is so horrible. I will never buy another piece of equipment at that store. I only hope someone reads this and fixes my vacuum system. It is still sitting there. On another note, I was supposed to receive a $100 rebate on the vacuum. I followed the process submitted the receipt and never received the rebate. I was told at the store that they did not manage the rebates and could give me another receipt to submit. Be careful when purchasing things from Pinch A Penny Pool Supply that supposedly provide any type of rebate.

Visited this store today for the first time. Adam was extremely helpful, and he did more for us in one brief visit that the people at "that other dreadful place" had done in four months.Definitely recommended.
