No wonder why this Sephora has such a low rating. Very very poor customer service. Their employees and management are telling two different stories when it comes to returns. The employee told me to test the product and if I didn’t love it I had up to a year to return for my money back, as long as I kept my receipt. Manager is saying only 60 days and refused to refund me after 62 days.

Was not greeted, was not helped. I tried unsuccessfully to do a foundation color match on myself, actually HOPING they would think I was stealing and would come over to investigate so that I could get help. I finally walked up to the counter with 12 different stripes of foundation across my face and asked "Am I ANYWHERE close with any of these shades?"I ended up with 3 samples in my shade range to try at home, which was cool, but.. only of one brand of makeup that I'm not even sure I like. And I need someone else to tell me my shade, not play roulette with 3 possibilities. If I am going to spend a bunch of money on all new makeup, I want to try multiple brands, not just the first shade that kinda matched in a random brand, but I didn't know what I was doing and she clearly didn't, either.Washed my face and went to Ulta up the road.

I had a bad experience in that place. Usually I help myself and hardly ask for help. And I tested the product I was planning to buy, but a few lip liner and eyeliner didn’t have a tester. So I found the product myself because it was nobody around to help and went to register to pay. But at the time when I was ready to pay I asked cashier if I can look at my product again to be sure that I got the right color and she say NO. You can’t look at eyeliner or lip liner because it’s the policy of the store. And I say I am not going to tested or try it, just look. She say NO you can’t open and look. I had product in the basket worth about $300-$400 and I just left half of the product on the counter and didn’t buy it. I told the cashier that it is very strange policy and I never had such a bad experience in any another Sephora in California or Florida. And I am professional make up artist and would never go to that store again. She wasn’t nice at all. It is plenty another Sephora stores around and I would definitely go to any another store but not that one.

Did not realize how over priced everything was for the selection they had, wasn’t worth coming in for. And I watched a woman wait at the counter to check out for 20 minutes before someone came to help her. walked in and was told hi and nothing else. At least I wasn’t followed around to make sure I wasn’t stealing. Sephora loves to tell their employees to stalk customers. Thought I’d give it a shot but ulta will always win me over..

Warning: If you make a purchase from Sephora - Sephora @ Kohls wont honor it if you need to exchange the product. I bought a $32 Diorshow 3D Maximizer lash primer instead of my tried & true Lancome lash primer - Dior Show didnt work. I went into Sephora @ Kohls & Sephora said they do not recognise Sephora @ Kohls & would not let me exchange the product. I was infuriated & had to drive back to Sephora Gainsville to exchange the product.Sephora @ Kohls never has any product in stock - only the things you dont want & has VERY LIMITED vendors. If you buy from Sephora online it takes 2-3 weeks to recieve your order & if you dont like it you have to pay shipping. I am ordering directly from the manufacturers website. I hate the way Sephora treats their customers!!! AWFUL! Terrible customer service.

I had gotten the wrong blush color cause THEY had it under the wrong name. So when I got to the car and saw quickly came back to swap it for the correct color I wanted. She did the return and then bought it with a store credit. Days later I end up realizing I shouldn’t have bought it cause I have enough makeup. Went to change it and was not able to get my money back all because of what the girl had done. I paid with MY card and had all the receipts but because she did the exchange like that and she bought it with a store credit that’s all they gave me back, even though it wasn’t my fault. SO UNFAIR. I needed the money, not a freakin store credit!!!!! ?

Employees stalked me and my sister as if we were there to steal something. As I attempted to browse the aisles, they kept needed to clean RIGHT where we were looking. It was the oddest experience. I was going to make a purchase but after hearing the lady behind the counter be incredibly rude with the elderly lady trying to return something, I put my item back and walked out.I spoke with my friend who had been there the week prior and different employees had done the same thing to her.Teach your employees to treat your customers better, Sephora. Ulta got my money today instead.

Good selection of products, especially clean brands. Friendly employees who are helpful if you need assistance, but who are glad to let you browse and try on products without being asked if you need help every 2 minutes. Nice option, since there is no stand alone Sephora nearby.

The worst. The employees are not knowledgeable about their own products. I asked for a product that they had listed on their website and an employee said that she did not even know what that product was that they do not carry it. Then I looked around and found it in their store. Not helpful, they do not approach you when you walk in and say hi. And when you asked for a product, they have no clue. These employees need to be trained about make up. If they’re going to be working there.

Had a great experience shopping here yesterday. All came about by asking an associate named Randall a simple question and the effort he put forth to respond, show me products that could meet my need was enough for me to ask for more assistance with other items. He went above and beyond showing us what options the store had and where to find the discounted items that could meet our needs. I didn't have the patience or desire to walk around the store to do all the shopping we needed but with the knowledgeable help this employee offered I saw no reason to shop other stores like BJ's or Walmart to pick up all that we needed. We had a big list so some retailer(s) yesterday were going to separate us from a lot of cash. Because of Randall's attitude, energy, helpfulness and knowledge Kohls got the lion's share of our purchases yesterday. I hope Randall is treated as a valued employee. It's employees like this that make me as a consumer more loyal to a retailer.
