Dental staff excellent, management however will find ways to exceed or max your insurance and attempt to frighten you into their services.

Staff were friendly until the dentist and hygienist came in. They have no compassion or bed side manner. No help for my broken and infected tooth which is very dangerous, especially in someone with mitral valve prolapse with back flow. No excuse for how they treated me and spoke to me.

This is the worst dentist office I have ever been to. Husband went in for an extraction Dentist said he could do that today but instead scheduled him to come back for a root canal he did not want. Will not be returning. Would not even rate one star. Absolutely the worst experience ever.

Since December 2023 I was having a really great experience with this facility. Staff was great, smiling and always helpful. I can’t say the same for my children (I denoted this to the call center). Any who, I work out of Jacksonville over night and live in lake city.I scheduled an appointment about a month ago for today. I have explained where I work and I have told them that making it to lake city in an hour is not possible from where I work in Jacksonville. Well today I show up at 8:30 which is usually when I make it into town from Jacksonville, mind you I’m still in uniform. The receptionist calls me up and says “your appointment was at 8”. I then replied with the same statement here. We both looked at the text messages and the message said 8??♀️ but I did not personally schedule myself with their scheduler at 8am knowing I wouldn’t make it on time. I told them I’d find somewhere else to go because that is crazy and another customer in the lobby looked at me and said “this happens all the time”.Aspen dental this is not ok. I work over night from 7pm-7am. Normally I’d give y’all a 5 star and I brag on yall throughout town. Granted this is a first time issue for myself, which is why instead of giving you 1 star I am giving you 3. Please get it together. This is not how this should have happened.

Horrible. Incompetent. Don't stand behind their work. They tried to force me to get an unnecessary out of pocket cleaning which is illegal. They made me come back for a cleaning and dental work so they get to charge for extra Office visits. I plan to report to Attorney General's Office as it is a crime to price gouge seniors. The insurance company will be very interested in this as well.

My experienced was mixed. I went in with a dental issue and was addressed promptly and efficiently. But from there we go downMy issue comes at check out where i hear for tthe first time the dentist and hygienist both determined I have "an active periodontal infection", that has the potential of entering my blood stream. All they can do is treat it with follow up maintenance as needed. The cost,a whopping 2k of which my insurance picked up half, leaving me with 1k out of pocket. I took them at their word and paid . Based on what I was told the procedure would require two separate visits of approximately an hour and a half each.visit for the procedure, which one would expect given the costI went in the next morning For an 845 appointment and I was home by 9:30 and according to the hygienist who did a good job whatever was done, no further treatment was needed outside of maintenance in 3 months and evaluate where I was then. The dentist never came in to check, which is not the biggest deal, but in my shaky history of Dentist visits, I have never left a procedure even a cleaning, where the dentist didn't do a quick check. The procedure felt exactly like a regular cleaning minus polishing that is done. And the more I thought about it the more stupid and upset I felt, unless the medication was liquid gold injected in my gums, this was the most expensive quick cleaning anyone has ever had. Outside of the numbing agent, which wasn't necessary bc of how little time it took to prepare for the "infection solution" how this company justifies charging 2,000$ for what amounted to resembling a basic cleaning is concerning and the thought occurs to me in order to get the patient to agree to pay 2k for the "treatment" which happened to me, they tell you it will take about 3 hours, done in two visits the talk & implication it a more invasive procedure and don't want to do it all in one session for the patient comfort. Thats the implication. Had they told me the procedure was just a little scrap and poke, insert meds and I'm done in 45mins, I might have questioned how they justify the 2k price tag.I called the office to speak with the woman who I booked this with, but she wouldn't take mycall which only heightened my Suspicions more. Instead sheit off to an iffice staffer to try to deal with a very angry and upset me, which is so unprofessional In my opinion, & cowardly The only answer she could give me is it doesn't matter how long it took, I got treated. It absolutely does matter to the patient who feels as if she got duped.I don't doubt I had an issue, I don't evendoubt I needed to be treated for an infection. What I'll always wonderis how bad was it, because the dentistnever talked to me directly, before or after, and what was described to me as the steps involving the treatment looked nothing like the service I received. So I'll never know, and they are fully aware there is little I can do and the could care less if I come back or they wouldn't have treated my situation as dismissive and unprofessionally as they have. If your thinking of using thisdental practice and they try to sell you this procedure, I strongly advise gettinga second opinion for the cost alone. I don't know how this office believes it's acceptable to charge a patient 2k dollars for what starkly resembles a basic teeth cleaning without the polish step, is beyond meAnd then refuse to discuss the patients concerns over the discrepancies and concerns about being overcharged. It's says so much the office manager who refused to address this with me, and the organization that condones it. Needless to say I won't return, but hopefully someone thinking of using this practice may find this review helpful.Update to this reviewI was told I could file a grievance with the insurance company, which I didIt may not get me anywhere, but it's something. I will post the final result
