Their interest rates are pathetic. How can they make money on your $25,000 and give you .08 interest? They can be friendly all they want but that doesn't build my bank account. They also have the nerve to charge $5 for a money order when you have this much in their bank!

Edit: theyre prolly going to delete this. no business has all 5 star reviews lol cheaters.I've had a first federal account since I was 15 and I'm now in my mid thirties. They gave me my first home loan. The tellers and staff are always nice and I enjoy being recognized when I go in.However. That recognition isn't because I go in for a lot of deposits. It's because in the last year the quality of banking here has gone so down hill it's ridiculous. We were hacked *6* times last August-September. I was told repeatedly it was my fault and that I was using my card in unsafe places. Uh, no, I wasn't. I know how to take steps to prevent getting info stolen. Turns out it wasn't just me, it was EVERYBODY. Every time I went in to dispute a charge there were multiple customers there with the same issue. They eventually convinced me a flex debit card would solve my problems and finally admitted they were having hack issues on their end, in a very roundabout manner. Way to go with transparency. Nah let's just gaslight the account holders. The flex got hacked too. I kept my third issuance, they finally changed the card numbers and it stopped. Such a pain to have to reload it all the time but I don't trust my own account anymore.Finally they convinced me to get a bank credit card. Worst mistake, it's hard enough keeping up with it in this economy and it's totally my fault for thinking it would work out but I'm still mad their response was "oh everyone uses credit these days! It's basically hack proof!" Harder to control and the interest rate is middling at best. The cherry on top: my identity was stolen during all this and I've had to lock down my credit and constantly check to see if my social has been used. Just happened again. I do indeed blame them, I've never had this happen before the account breaches. "It's a widespread issue" ?Now even getting into my app to check balances is hit or miss. The app is currently down and has been since Friday afternoon. There's no actual customer service on weekends. With a flex I have to reload this is kind of a problem. Got an emergency on Saturday? Good luck bud.At this point I'm switching to a credit union. Don't know what caused this massive dive in quality but hey, things change. So will I, at a union that has better customer service and no hidden issues. Probably won't get charged 13$ a month for sketchy access either.I know this is a novel, I needed to detail how badly this has gone. Someone will respond and tell me they're sorry I've had this experience but lol y'all can't fix my identity issues/ CC issues now. Go with a national/statewide service. Don't stay here for loyalty sake. One extra star for nice staff I worked with.

My relationship with First Federal Bank began when I started my business 7 years ago. I knew they had always supported local charities and organizations, so I chose them as the bank I would use. I have been delighted with that choice and would not change a thing! Gigi Register was fantastic with the initial setup of the different business accounts. She helped guide me through what I needed to know as a new business owner. She was very helpful. When it was time to purchase a business vehicle, Stephanie Lunde walked me through the process. She answered my many, many questions with grace and patience. When my wife and I needed a home loan recently, Stephanie suggested we talk with Robb Burns. As one would expect, I had even more questions about this purchase. Robb was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the entire process of getting the mortgage. He was always swift to reply when I emailed a question and always there if I needed to call about something. I am thankful for my partnership with First Federal and look forward to growing further with them in the coming years.

I started banking here when I was high school. Here we are (almost ten years later) and I have nothing but positive things to say. I have never had an issue with FFB of Lake City. They are so helpful and kind every time. 10/10 recommend banking with First Federal!

Super responsive and they don’t don’t quit until the issue is resolved. After 25+years I still love this bank! They make me feel like I’m their ONLY customer……..

Our personal and business accounts are with this institution. One of the workers, Ms. Cuervo, is extremely helpful and friendly. She has done everything that she can in order to ensure a secure and efficient transaction. Furthermore, all of the tellers are quite friendly!

I love First Federal Bank, not only because is close to my house is because I was in the past client in other bank and never had the personal attention I get as a customer in the bank. All are kind and very patience but in my case there’s a special person Marlene Cuervo who really help all the Latin Community with our accounts , she always is busy but she gives you a great smile and you wait for her and in a way she tell you and advise you all the banks services and even helps you to put in your phone with patience rhe on line bank?? . I feel at home in the bank and love ,have always candies to spoil the clients , I want to make to my appreciation to all the crew special too the treats for the puppies ? I am in love with my bank and lot of exits ???.

After having so much trouble with VyStar, I decided to open new accounts for me and my kids, Marlen Cuervo was so helpful, and answer all my questions. We had a wonderful experience With First Federal because of her services. I will most definitely recommend her to my friends.
